IS IT A SIN FOR A CHRISTIAN TO VOTE FOR A DEMOCRAT, OR IS IT JUST WRONG??

I'm 76 and remember the time before Roe vs. Wade. My family were always Republicans. But there wasn't that great a difference between the two parties as there is today. Today, only a lukewarm and spiritually ignorant Christian could possibly choose to be a Democrat.

I gave you the text. What does it say Jesus frees us from?

Look at Matthew 8:32-36 What does Jesus free us from "indeed"?

IS IT A SIN FOR A CHRISTIAN TO VOTE FOR A DEMOCRAT, OR IS IT JUST WRONG??

Not long ago I met a person that claimed to be a Christian that was a Democrat and was shocked! I honestly didn't think they existed! Matthew 7:21-23 will apply to them.

This is what you keep saying and I agree. BUT are we meaning the same thing? How does the gift of righteousness CHANGE what you do? Which of these did you receive or not receive? Your posts leave your meaning unsaid. 1. Are you doing the exact same things as you did before, but now the Father...

@Behold I've gotta go for now. Answer some more of the problems I have with your posts. And I'll read them later.

I'm not talking about now, but before you were a Christian! I don't confess sin now either, but that is because I don't commit any! Do you commit things that would have been a sin before you trusted in Christ.? If so, then you haven't been freed from sin. You are actually UNDER the law you...

I agree, and always have. I agree, and always have. I agree, and always have Here is where we part ways. The law still is in effect for the world of sinners. Jesus didn't come to free us from the Law, but from the NEED FOR THE LAW - SIN Of course if frees us from the Law. But what was the...

Use Not this verse : 1 John 1:9...if you are born again.

How can you confess your "sin" if you don't know it is sinful? You've tried to stop on your own through works, but you CAN'T. That is why works cannot save us, only through the infilling of the Spirit of Christ are we powerful to stop. What happens first is "hearing" the gospel and about Christ.

The key word is LEARN. They were uneducated and Paul didn't want a lot of interruptions, so their husbands needed to teach them at home.

YES! That is the first step. But what you don't say is what actually happens to us when we do that! The moment Jesus responds and takes away our sin, how do you FEEL? Behold, it is so powerful you KNOW IT WHEN IT HAPPENS.

Use Not this verse : 1 John 1:9...if you are born again.

No I did NOT. That is what you keep saying ever since my first post years ago. But it is a total misunderstanding of plain English! We cannot save ourselves by trying to be good enough. I said, WE CAN'T!

So what? I'm sorry! Do you have intelligent answers to my posts about the Word of God or don't you have an answer?

Use Not this verse : 1 John 1:9...if you are born again.

Paul is responding to the culture of the Jews, not educated women teaching. That was still Paul's opinion, not the truth of God as a law. Women in those days did not go to schools or even learn the Torah. So don't be a bully.

Use Not this verse : 1 John 1:9...if you are born again.

Stop being offended, even though you say you're not. Now stop telling me what I'm doing in the past, and respond to what I'm saying TODAY! And how did you become a Teacher? We are saying the same things, but I also teach what happens to us inside. You seem to only be teaching ABOUT Jesus. Here...

What you preach is good, thus the like, Behold. You've just never understood my posts. But I see areas you need to expand. Stop being offended and go back and read my corrections. Focus on those and let's see what points of those we disagree on.

Use Not this verse : 1 John 1:9...if you are born again.

We can't! That's the whole point! What we initially "confess" and repent of is the inability to be righteous enough to go to heaven. That is what Romans 7:14-25 is all about! Knowing the Law or even everything there is to know ABOUT Jesus that you are preaching, and it is good, is not enough to...

Use Not this verse : 1 John 1:9...if you are born again.

We would be on the same page if you are not just theologically saying you are a saint. What evidence do you have that Christ is dwelling on the inside, and that your beliefs are not just knowledge of what theologically should happen? This troubled me: You: You do something that offends your...

Use Not this verse : 1 John 1:9...if you are born again.

The key word there is "say" whereas in verse 7 it is "walk". See the difference? Some say they have no sin, but don't walk the walk. All the darkness verses 6, 8 and 10 use "say." Now read the next chapter and see John again use "say", but more clearly. Verse 8 that you seem to use to justify...

Time is up!! Jesus is returning and rapture (catching up) time is here!!

Yes, He will. The tribulation is a time of TESTING, not WRATH. The Wrath comes later.
