. ● 1Pet 3:15 . . Always be ready to give an explanation to anyone who asks you for a reason for your hope. Peter's hope was likely the same as Paul's, which is not so much an exemption from the sum of all fears, rather; resurrection to a better life. "Brethren, I am a Pharisee, a son of...

. ● 1 Tim 6:7 . .We brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. We all walk a strange path. On the one hand we have to be ready to leave this life on a moment's notice, while on the other hand ready for a long stay, i.e. live like there's no tomorrow, and yet...

. A remarkable cosmological event introduces the scene depicted by Rev 20:11-15. "The earth and sky fled from his presence, but they found no place to hide." Now, I don't exactly know what that describes but it seems to me something so colossal as to be impossible to miss and yet it is...

. In the movie "Shawshank Redemption" a man is given two life sentences for murders he didn't commit. At first he feels very strongly that the truth will come out that he's innocent and doesn't belong in prison: he expects to eventually be exonerated and set free. Well, one of the old-timers...

. Were I an atheist or some such disbeliever, I probably wouldn't be too interested in names and whatnot. But quite possibly I might be very concerned that Jesus has charge of the netherworld. ● Phil 2:10 . . Every knee will bend . . . . under the earth. ● Rev 1:18 . . . I am he who lives...

. The answer to your inquiry is located back in No. 410 When the Word of John 1:1 came into the world as the flesh of John 1:14 he came as a Jewish man instead of a divine man. (Phil 2:6-7) In time God endowed the man with divinity as compensation for his unselfish devotion to a matter of...

. FAQ: From whence did baby Jesus obtain a Y chromosome for his male gender? REPLY: In the beginning, Eve's entire body-- inside and out, front to back, top to bottom, and side to side --was constructed with material taken from Adam's body. (Gen 2:21-22) So if God could construct an entire...

. "The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David" (Luke 1:30-33) Before Jesus could be considered for David's throne, he first had to be among David's biological descendants; no exceptions. ● Ps 89:35-36 . . Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David. His...

. Avatars are not real people. At most they're a sophisticated disguise. The Word's alter ego Jesus isn't an avatar: he's Abraham's and David's biological descendant. _

. ● Rev 16:8-9 . .The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was given power to scorch people with fire. They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify Him. ● Rev 16:10-11 . .The...

. ● 1Tim 2:11-13 . . Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. It's important to note that this is neither a gender issue nor an issue related to...

. ● 1Cor 11:3 . . But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. It never seems to fail that somebody will actually attempt to refute Paul's statement by quoting another of his own statements. "You are all...

. I am a creature of design, and my design has limits. Those limits allow me to exist as only one distinct being at a time. However, the Word of John 1:1 is a divine being capable of creating things ex nihilo--out of nothing. In my estimation, someone with that ability is easily capable of...

. You've pretty much described a demigod; which is a singular being who's half human and half divine The Word of John 1:1, and the flesh that the Word became in John 1:14, are two separate and distinct beings each with an identity of their own-- the one is an eternal spirit being whose origin...

. Of the two-- pardon vs. acquittal --I prefer acquittal because pardons leave traces on the books, whereas acquittal leaves no traces. For example; files are to be opened at the scene depicted by Rev 20:11-15. I've no doubt that quite a few of the "works" in those files are pardoned works; yet...
