Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

3 of 3 @JustMe Tertullian (AD 150-225) was an early Christian apologist. He said, Hippolytus of Rome (AD 170-235) was a third-century theologian. He was a disciple of Irenaeus, who was a disciple of Polycarp, who was a disciple of John. He writes,

Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

@JustMe 2 of 2 Melito of Sardis (died c. AD 180) was the bishop of the church in Sardis. Irenaeus of Lyons (AD 130-202) was bishop of Lugdunum in Gaul, which is now Lyons, France. Irenaeus was born in Smyrna in Asia Minor, where he studied under bishop Polycarp, who in turn had been a...

Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

LOL @Justified states that we should believe what the bible says.... and YOUR reply is that it's a rediculous statement? And THIS, ladies and gentlemen, is why Christianity, as a religion, is in deep trouble. You see JustdMe....YOU don't get to decide what scripture teaches. Those who heard...

No. I'm not fitting anything into MY theology. Are you like the armoured guy? I don't have MY theology. I didn't invent the christian religion. It was here before I was born. it's been here for two millinia. What I post on these threads is what the church has taught from the beginning. I...

Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

ONLY BEGOTTEN in theology means UNIQUE. It does not mean that God had only one baby. God the Son was NEVER created. He always existed. You don't really have to understand this... but you do have to accept it. Or, you shouldn't call yourself a Christian.

Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

Jesus was divine in nature. Jesus was human in nature. Jesus had both a divine nature and a human nature. The hypostatic union. Two natures. One Person. You're right.

Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

Mark... You must be new to these Forums. I in no way am saying that the Trinity must be understood. What I'm saying is that it must be accepted. You'll be meeting many so called Christians that do not believe that Jesus is divine/deity. They believe Jesus was the Son but not God... They...

What about Vance? I think he's going to have to be the next in line. I'd hate to see him and Rubio facing off.

Fatwah issued by ISIS on Tommy Robinson

I agree. The lines have been drawn. No more common sense and being unified for important matters that affect everyone. I watched the state of the union address. Saw how the Dems just sat there when they should have joined their counterpart and stood up for what is right. I don't know how we...
