Greetings Ferris ....nice to see you posting again.. The vital thing in our lives is to become a Child Of God....One can become that child by Resting in the Gospel Of 1Cor15:14.....once you are God's Child , you are a member of the Body Of Christ —- you are Sealed and secure and as far as...

Nice post, but I just think that although people can be “Moral” , and that is the type of “ Righteous ness” that I believe you are speaking of.....The “ Morality” Of the best man that ever lived is STILL “ filthy rags” when compared to Perfection—- and Perfection is what God demands to be fit...

Our best “ Righteousness” is “ filthy rags” in the eyes of God......The Righteousness that counts is the one IMPUTED to you when you become a Believer..... Once God has made us “ New Creations” with “ New Hearts” our new Love for God will make us “ want” to be Obedient .....get God's Spirit...

but faith alone does not get anyone saved without repentance. Read Galatians and come back and tell me why this is not a “ False, Perverted” Gospel, despite the Fact That it sounds “ Holy”......Then, as you consider Gal 1:8......then tell me why God won’t damn you for preaching it...

Judas proves OSAS is bogus. Judas was never Saved......Jesus said he was a “ devil”..... it’s back to the drawing board for you....

I am 68 years old.....I got a lot of that negative stuff going on also.... My main complaint is that I have lost 3O yards off of my drives in my Golf game....and no matter how old I get, I still can’t putt with a damn.....lol.... I have learned to never complain about the bad things that can...

.To become a child of God, you must choose to receive Jesus, (John 1:12),by asking Him into your heart (Revelation 3:20), where He then dwells (Ephesians 3:17and Colossians 1:27), plus you must choose to repent and ask Him to forgive your sins so they are forgiven (Acts 3:19 and Acts 20:21), and...

Brilliant. Thank you.

You need to condense this windy post....I do not read long posts.....most others don’t either....

Metaneo means both the decision to turn completely to God and away from a sinful life AND sorrow for past sins. You are making this stuff up as you go along.....words REALLY DO have meanings! “Metaneo” is neither good nor bad.It simply and literally means “Mind Change” .If one is an...

You don’t get the Holy Spirit first, nor get grace first, before salvation, but after. “ Nobody comes to God lest the Spirit draw him” The initiative for Salvation is God’s Territory.......only HE can give “ eyes to see” and “ ears to hear” ....The Bible shows by the story of “Lydia, the...

And faith doesn’t guarantee salvation. We must choose to repent of our sins to have them forgiven Acts 3:19, and must choose to receive Jesus OR reject faith and reject Jesus as His own elect did, John 1:11-12. The Holy Spirit is resistible. Acts 7:51. Acts 3: 19 does NOT say “ repent of...

Your verses from Galatians 5 are taken out of context....read the next chapter.....chapter and verse did not exist when Paul wrote this letter.......Paul is addressing Believers “ caught up in sin” and how they are to be treated.....how does this jibe with with your example ? Anybody “ caught up...

When we do occasionally sin, we must confess it, for God to forgive it. 1 John 1:9. Eph4:32..... be kind and tender hearted, Forgiving each other as God *HAS FORGIVEN* you....The Motive for Forgiveness in this Age Of Grace , this side of the Cross, is not the fear that we will be damned if...

That OPINION is worth exactly what I paid for it—— NOTHING.

Just as I said—- notice it does NOT say “ Repentance from SINS!”..... The “ repentance to God” simply means TURNING TO GOD......acknowledging you are a Sinner who can not Save himself....It agrees with the Promise Of God that says, “ TURN to me ( Repent) and I will Turn to you” ......and then...

Again, the passage is 100% clear and doesn't need anyone's personal interpretations. Christ plainly told the young man that anyone who had to keep the 10 commandments if they wanted to receive eternal life and not just believe He exists. Now compare that to what the Bible has to say about the...

"Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law." - 1 Jhn 3:4 Truer Words never never spoken! .....I sure am glad my Sins have been nailed to the Cross......unfortunately , your confused Ilk wants to take them back down from the Cross and put...

To become a Christian, one must believe in Jesus Christ. They must accept Jesus Christ into their life to be their Lord and Savior. They must repent of their sins and follow Jesus Christ and the teachings in the New Testament. You should have stopped with that first sentence......there are...

Newbies need to recognize a False Gospel when it rears it’s ugly head.....Nowhere in the KJV does it say we must “ repent of sins” to be Saved, if that is what Curtis is implying in his post....I’ll give him $1000 if he can prove me wrong..... Believing the Gospel Found In 1Cor15:1-4 is...
