You're the pastor of a church? 1. I'd like to post this for you. Jesus' brother stated it. He was a major figure in the early church... and THE elder of Jerusalem. He was one of the 5 Popes of that time. Bet you didn't know that. You might want to look into this. Plain and simple church...

Where's my apology? And, yes sir, WORKS are INCLUDED in our salvation. Do YOU obey Jesus? Do YOU do what Jesus taught? Then yes,,,then I do hope you're doing the good works HE said we are to do.

You're not going to remember this... but I remember having this conversation with you about 8 years or so ago. I remember because of the term you used: BEING CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST And I liked how you explained it. PS It means you're consistent.

Sorry Ezra,,, I can't help it. Some have their theology so lopsided as to not make any sense. Look at what you've said above: "WE ARE INDWELT AT THE MOMENT OF SALVATION" "THE INFILLING COMES THROUGH GROWTH" So,,, being indwelt is not the same as infilling. So, I'm RIGHT that we need...

@LoveYeshua I've found Taken to be a very mysterious person. However, what this person (it's a she) is trying to say, in their very own personal way, is that we are saved NOW but receive this salvation AT DEATH since we cannot know if we will persevere. She is actually 100% correct and I...

Oh... And the above sounds like you believe in OSAS. A heretical teaching that was NEVER taught by the Apostles. Is it any wonder you don't understand baptism either. The entire NT is not understood by you.

Ezra... if you're incapable of discussing baptism due to your lack of knowledge on the subject... that's fine with me.....and I'm referring to your post no. 110 As to your above post.... I'm expecting an apology from you. You broke into a conversation with another poster... read ONLY what he...

Nice. Lovely. ISIS are the REAL Muslims. And, I have to agree. If a Muslim is actually following his religion... he will support ISIS. Do we remember the crusades? We have members on these boards that CRITICIZE the Catholic religion because of the crusades that saved US ALL from Islam...

I should know this. I've known Triumph for about 10 years now. Can't remember everything about everybody! People that hate the US are confusing HATE with JEALOUSY. People with half of a brain LOVE the US... There's more opportunity, they make more money (whatever category) socialism is still...

@Adventageous Can't remember if I've asked you this. Why is this so important? Paul said that we shouldn't allow ourselves to be criticized as to the day of a festival. Some of the first Christians kept worshipping on Saturday, but that came to a stop very soon. They were banned from the...

The only way Islam could function is with fear. Some of them actually do have a brain that works.... so it's easy to see past the shallowness of their Dahwah and what they teach. God is One, and Muhammad was perfect, and all that nonsense. So...the only way to keep them in line is with fear...

You know,,,this is most probably true because ISLAM teaches that we're the enemy and that it's OK to kill us... but it kind of entered my mind, that this might be just a ploy because he's gathering so much support from NORMAL people that would like to KEEP THEIR CULTURE. He should be on the...

Where do YOU live Triumph? If I remember correctly, it's a nice safe place in the US. aintcha lucky? You should THANK TRUMP that this is not happening in the US. YET. He's not going to be president forever and when the Dems get back into office... you could have WOKE back and all the...

WHAT is my job Ezra? To post scripture to complete the OP's statement? No sir. That is HIS job....not mine. Maybe before speaking,,,, you should go back and see what was being spoken of?

Yes sir. I believe the early church was correct. Why? Because it followed exactly what the NT teaches --- thus what the Apostles taught and the writers of the NT (mostly Apostles). They did NOT teach that baptism is a symbol. They taught that it's salvific in nature. Even if we don't...

Not my job BB. Go back and read the posts.

YOUR verses created the conflict.... NOT MINE! It's up to you to now resolve the conflict.... if you can. AND this is why SOLA SCRIPTURA,,,,a calvinist ideology... is NOT SUFFICIENT to understand scripture. WHO is the false teacher? The one following the Apostles and the teachings THEY passed...

I find it bothersome that some call everything WORKS SALVATION. I used to be called LEGALISTIC...I don't hear this term anymore. But there are other terms. I hear that doing good works is SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS. I hear that we don't need to HELP God...He can create the Kingdom of God on earth all...

I like the above and agree, of course. But how about this? We're to put God first. The rich YM loved his money more than God. Jesus told him to do the one thing he could not do. I wonder if we all have one thing we could not do?

Please tranlate to English. Would like to know where the word KYRIAKEN.... OR highlight above writing in Greek. It IS speaking about persons.... but it seems to me that it's referring to the day they worship.
