The Atonement: What did it REALLY Accomplish?

Christ's One Offering Sanctified forever those He died for ! Heb 10:10 10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Yes, The writer is writing to Believers, however that [believing] is not how they became sanctified forever, which was...

Why do so many stumble over imputed righteousness?

Hi, I dont think you understand Justification nor faith, but most people dont, you not alone. May God be pleased to open up your understanding !

Why do so many stumble over imputed righteousness?

heartwashed Yes you are when you think by doing that, it results in your Justification before God, thats a misuse of Faith.

Why do so many stumble over imputed righteousness?

heartwashed Not before God. Thats works, merit Justification. The elect were Justified by Christs Blood alone, apart from faith/believing Rom 5:9 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. What does by mean here ?

The Atonement: What did it REALLY Accomplish?

Perfected forever Heb 10:14 14 For by one offering[His Death] he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. When scripture states that by His One Offering [His Death or Blood] of Himself , those He died for are perfected forever, it means that they are Eternally Justified Perfectly...

Why do so many stumble over imputed righteousness?

heartwashed False, one is Justified first by the blood of Christ, then later they are given Faith, thats why its written, The Just/Justified shall live by Faith Rom 1:16-17 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth...

Why do so many stumble over imputed righteousness?

heartwashed Right and I took time to explain that to you. We are Justified by Faith because we were Justified by Christs Blood, Faith is given to see it, embrace it, rest in it. Faith sees the object that Justified His People, the Blood and Grace of God in Christ.

Why do so many stumble over imputed righteousness?

heartwashed Again you condition Justification on your action ! Thats works
  9. B

Why do so many stumble over imputed righteousness?

heartwashed This is advocating Justification by your works, it denies Justification by the Blood alone while yet ungodly.
  10. B

Why do so many stumble over imputed righteousness?

heartwashed Thats false teaching friend. Thats conditional Justification based on the sinners act !

Why do so many stumble over imputed righteousness?

heartwash We are Justified by His Blood Rom 5:9 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Rom 3:24 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: This Justification occurred before a person is born ...

The Old Testament law is just as valid as the New Testament law.

heartwash Yes its speaking of Imputed Righteousness and Practical Righteousness, Christs practical Righteousness which He obeyed all of Gods Law for His People, and it was imputed to them, and when given Faith to believe it, we walk according to the Spirit of Faith believing. Christ is the...

Why do so many stumble over imputed righteousness?

heartwash Exactly ! Christ shed His Blood for me before I had Faith. No it doesnt, it teaches the very opposite Absolutely wrong, Faith sees spiritually Justification, Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen, Justification isn't physically seen, its...

Why do so many stumble over imputed righteousness?

heartwash Because prior to Justification by Faith they were Justified the Blood of Christ and the Grace of God freely Rom 3:24 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Rom 5:9 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved...

The Old Testament law is just as valid as the New Testament law.

Christ has fulfilled the Law, the OT Law, and the Righteousness therein has been imputed to His Church. Christ obeyed and fulfilled every jot and tittle of the Law in His Perfect Law Keeping Righteousness. Do you believe this ?
  16. B

Why do so many stumble over imputed righteousness?

No it doesnt say that. Yes Faith is a fruit of the Spirit, thats why a person must be born again before they have Faith, Yet they are Justified before they are born again. The sinners being born that Christ died for, are born under Grace since Christ has put away their sins before God centuries...

The Atonement: What did it REALLY Accomplish?

It is finished continued ! If God could punish those Christ died for, after punishing them once already in Christ, God would be Unjust to His Son Christ, and renege on The Covenant engagements ! God Justly punished Christ for all their sins. God in His Injustice would be punishing those Christ...

Why do so many stumble over imputed righteousness?

Rom 5:1-2 is Truth, nevertheless Justification comes way before sanctification and faith. Faith is a fruit of Sanctification of the Spirit, but the Spirit only sanctifies the Justified ! Rom 5:2 doesnt say "a person cannot be in grace apart from having faith." You stated that without any support.

Why do so many stumble over imputed righteousness?

I cant see where you understand any of those verses, and you are not teachable with me. Nevertheless, Justification before God and Gods Law is prior to any sanctification or faith/repentance. A person Christ died for is Justified before God before faith, for the simple fact that Christ has died...

The Atonement: What did it REALLY Accomplish?

It is Finished ! All for whom Christ died, He has by His Death alone for them, perfectly satisfied God's Law and Justice for them, and this Truth remains steadfast regardless if they for whom He died, believe it not, for there not knowing it, not believing it, can undo what Christ hath done for...
