John 3.16: Simple Gospel truth and profound theology

Nicodemus believed that the Messiah’s mission was only for Israel. But here in John 3:16 the Lord says, ‘God so loved the world’. What does ‘world’ mean? Every single individual living on earth, including mountains, trees, rivers, sea, rocks, animals and everything in the world that you see? No...

The Atonement: What did it REALLY Accomplish?

The Blood of the Covenant ! Scripture is clear that Christ's Blood is Covenant Blood ! Matt 26:28 28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. That word testament is the greek word diathēkē and is also translated covenant : a disposition...

John 3.16: Simple Gospel truth and profound theology

Concerning the word whosoever in Jn 3:16 it should never be isolated, but must always be seen in conjunction with the word that follows it, ‘believeth’, as well as in its proper context. The context of John chapter 3, shows Jesus speaking with one of the religious rulers of the Jewish people...

The Atonement: What did it REALLY Accomplish?

A Ransoming This Eternal Redemption is also a ransoming ! The blood was the ransom price, redemption is the effect or result. Remember the term ransom is used here Mk 10:45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. 1 Tim...

John 3.16: Simple Gospel truth and profound theology

The subjects in Jn 3:16 are believing and having eternal life, that in and of itself denotes everyone without exception cannot be meant, because, eternal life in the Divine Purpose is restricted says Christ to as many as the Father has given the Son Jn 17:2 2 As thou hast given him power over...

    Christians are not sinners

Christians are sinners saved by Grace. The blessing however is that a Christians sin isn't imputed/charged to them. All their sins have been charged to Christ and He satisfied God's law and justice for them.

The Atonement: What did it REALLY Accomplish?

More on Forgiveness in relation to Redemption ! As we continue to consider the Eternal Redemption Christ has procured for them He died for, we find that He has obtained for them Eternal Forgiveness, for His Death hath delivered them from the Penalty of all their sins. All who are such blessed...

John 3.16: Simple Gospel truth and profound theology

The World of Jn 3:16 is the World God loves, hence by giving His Son for it, He gives it life [spiritual/eternal] Jn 6:33 33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life[spiritual/eternal] unto the world.

The Atonement: What did it REALLY Accomplish?

Redemption is an act of God ! A fellow said once to me, that yes Jesus Christ has obtained Eternal Redemption for them, but that does not mean those who He died for receive it. How far from the Truth was that statement. Redemption requires action to be done by the one doing the redeeming or He...

John 3.16: Simple Gospel truth and profound theology

Since in Johns writings and the need of consistency, there is a difference in the world of Jn 17:9,23 and the world of Jn 3:16 which the Father so loved, Jn 3:16 cannot be mean every individual without exception !

The Atonement: What did it REALLY Accomplish?

Christ Death accomplished and obtained Eternal Redemption for us ! Heb 9:12 12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us Who are the Us ? That would be the Seed of Abraham of whom He came and...

Thats wrong, it is about Salvation.

John 3.16: Simple Gospel truth and profound theology

Those whom God Loves, Christ Loves, whom is God, they have an intimacy with them, like Christ so loved His Church that He gave Himself for it, and all of its members Eph 5:25 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; Yet Christ plainly says to...

Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated

candz God doesnt wait on people to repent, in fact He gives repentance and causes it Acts 11:18 18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life. The natural man doesnt have a repentant heart...
