I'm sure it would have to be a federalized national guard, you really need a lawyer to understand this mess, so that isn't me.

It seems a bit extreme, and a violation of the public distrust. It may also be illegal as police can not go on strike in many places. They get around it sometimes in what is called a Blue Flu. I also don't think Trump should take any illegal actions to restore law and order in these places...

Or maybe not, so confusing H.R.4986 SEC.1068: Revises federal provisions concerning the use of the Armed Forces in major public emergencies to discontinue the executive authority to deploy active and reserve personnel during domestic response incidents.

That would not turn out as well for Trump, as the media will spin it as Trump being a tyrant who is abusing executive powers. If he calls out the governors who are against law and order and are failing to deploy the national guard, I believe it will work out to his benefit. The fear of anarchy...

I remember a national day of prayer a few years back where thousands in an auditorium would pray over things affecting the nation. The subject came to racism and there were several prominent preachers from the black community, and others who represented the white community. The white preachers...

Politically Christians are loose cannons, and should remain so. We owe our allegiance to God above all, and should be prepared to betray any other affiliation. This is one of the main reasons why communist countries want everyone to be atheist, because you can't count on Christians to always...

Their names are in the book of life, and God is their father. When confronted with the eternal word it pierces the vale and enlightens the heart. This moment of recognition is a sort of paradox, where the Truth isn't taught but it is recognized because it is already known. I think the word...

Welcome!

Thank you for the update, will keep Willie in prayer.

I can agree with psychologists that anger is a second hand emotion, It always has a trigger. What angers someone may not anger others. What angers you can indicate where you are struggling with the flesh. I'm sure each of us can remember a situation where we shouldn't have gotten angry but we...

I doubt Willie will mind, but just to be sure.

Nice..., but I fail to see what any of this has to do with a prayer request for Willie

Isn't the issue political ethics, asking for favors because of his wife's position in government?

Not a big deal, If the boat doesn't make it into the water he can just call on the national guard.

Don't look back, its just Upside-down fireworks, nothing to see here.

If you must boast about prayer or fasting it will be of no benefit. That's what happened back in the day, people did it to maintain their social status. Matthew 6 Its between you and God, and no one else's business. I wouldn't consider praying once a day as being vain repetition. Any less...

Your talking about Indonesia, they last thing they want is more Christians. Similar stories here in the US, as we have the death penalty in some states. People will change and still be executed in the long period of time waiting for execution. A decade or so wait on death row should be enough...
