The Problems of Perpetual Belief Alone Salvation-ism.

. . It is regrettable that you so highly object to my point of his referring to Hebrews 6 and Hebrews 10 as containing "the two biggest warnings in the Bible against apostasy" (direct quote—his words; not mine) which is not the same as saying "the only two big places in the Bible on apostasy"...

A Simple Yet Irrefutable Reason The Catholic church Is Not Rooted In Christ's Church

. . The rationale that division proves the impossibility of truth seems hardly sensible. If there is absolute truth to be known, surely God would be just as able to reveal it to one person as He is to 1.2 billion people. Religious liberty stipulates that people believe, express, and worship...

. . You just might be reading too much into what I said. :) . .

The Problems of Perpetual Belief Alone Salvation-ism.

. . The two biggest warnings against apostasy in the Bible are in Hebrews 6 and Hebrews 10? Revelation 14 9And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10The same shall drink of...

The Problems of Perpetual Belief Alone Salvation-ism.

. . A false, misleading, blanket statement that doesn't address any point that I made, but only repeats an insistence that has already been made is not compelling evidence that the 4th commandment has been wiped from the tablets of stone written with the finger of God. Christ is LORD of the...

The Problems of Perpetual Belief Alone Salvation-ism.

. . ("Most important command in the universe?" Isn't that a little over-the-top? Methinks...) It would almost make a person wonder why the Adventist church leaders relegated it to item #20 on the "28 Fundamental Beliefs" document (not a creed, btw), wouldn't it? . . . . Forgive me if I'm...

The Problems of Perpetual Belief Alone Salvation-ism.

Don't you think you think you should be more specific with these precious souls you're trying to reach about what it actually means to be 'doing what God says' and to 'believe everything in your Bible?' :)

The Problems of Perpetual Belief Alone Salvation-ism.

M m It's just so sad that the "many" and others do not give such careful study and consideration to Colossians 2:13-17, nor believe that Exodus 20:8-11 is included in "believing everything in your Bible" which, evidently, "is a part of the faith." :)

Don't call yourself a Christian when you live like the world.

. . I'm familiar with Johann. We were quite chummy at one time. Like all of us, he could use plenty of intercession. :) . .

Don't call yourself a Christian when you live like the world.

. . Well, of course, you're correct (and hopefully you'll pardon me for committing the "stating the painfully obvious" faux pas) but aren't we now approaching holiness from the other end of the spectrum as compared to Adam and Eve before the fall? They didn't need to "accept Jesus" as a Saviour...

Don't call yourself a Christian when you live like the world.

. . Adam and Eve didn't bring this tide of woe upon us by suddenly developing enmity toward God, did they? I thought the Bible said that we shall be judged according as our works shall be. ¿ . .

Don't call yourself a Christian when you live like the world.

. . You certainly don't. You don't owe me a thing. I was just asking. And I pray God bless and keep you, Brother. I will always have fond memories of our early friendship. I'll never forget your quirky Sly Stallone avatar and the brotherly love we shared. I deeply regret that I didn't do...

. . Why so abrasive? Does the Seventh-day Adventist church teach this somewhere? I've never been to one like that, and I've been around a bit. . .

. . I know I'm coming to the table a little late, but why would you tag someone and call them out on a thread in which they're not even participating, J? :) . .

    . . But won't lack of obedience be a means to an end—the way that seemeth right to a man—death? . .
