The 144,000 before God at the end.

Yes, the thief on Jesus's right. But the thief on Jesus's left was not annihilated; his spirit went... somewhere else, not with Christ. But as I said, God ~ the Father ~ is omnipresent... present everywhere. I still am not sure whether you believe in annihilationism, because you have not said...

The 144,000 before God at the end.

LOL! He did no such thing. He said the suddenness and unexpectedness of His return would be as the suddenness and unexpectedness of the coming of the flood in Noah's day: "For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days before the flood they were...

The 144,000 before God at the end.

People get confused about a lot of things, RWB. Just because people are confused doesn't necessarily mean anyone actually caused it. And we share in it because in that salvific the moment, we are resurrected in spirit ~ raised up with Christ and seated with God in the heavenly places in Christ...

The 144,000 before God at the end.

Of believers. Unbelievers' spirits go... somewhere else, as I said. Jesus told the thief crucified on His right that he (the thief) would be with Him that day in paradise, and said nothing to the thief on His left. Two things I think we can take from that are 1.) that the thief on His left...

The many errors and contradictions found in Amillennialism.

In your opinion. Yeah, I'm good with that. :) I mean there may be some out there who consider themselves Amillennialists who actually believe "the Gospel is in the pit," but that's quite a ridiculous belief, and Amillennialism would disavow it. LOL! We'll... agree to disagree. :) Yes, and...

The 144,000 before God at the end.

LOL! Which was in the world, weathering its way through the flood, somewhere in what we know today as the Middle East. :) Wow... Actually, at some point, they were probably floating in/under the water. But yes, they were in the world... also. :) Goodness gracious. There's no symbolism...

The 144,000 before God at the end.

Call it what you want, RWB. If you want to be a little more accurate, you can call it my opinion, but I have no problem with either, really. It is what it is. I'm... really not sure I understand what you mean by this. So some are... or anybody is, really... physically alive after they have...

The 144,000 before God at the end.

Well, in the beginning part of Revelation 20, it speaks of those who are blessed to participate in the first resurrection. So by inference, there must be a second resurrection (else John would not specify the first as "first"), and those who participate in it are, well, not necessarily blessed...

The 144,000 before God at the end.

No, this IS the first resurrection. It is a raising to life in Christ after having been previously dead in sin. If you disagree, then, well, we can agree to disagree; it's not a salvific matter in that one cannot be saved or can somehow lose his/her salvation because he or she is wrong on this...

    The Rapture is Post-trib

God is able to save any time... with God all things are possible, remember... but there will be no more saving after the tribulation, because the fullness of the Gentiles will have been brought in, and then the partial hardening that is now on Israel will have been removed, and thus all of His...

Well, understood, but your side of things is... God knows where. We'll just say... way out there... LOL! Grace and peace to you.

The many errors and contradictions found in Amillennialism.

Yes it is... :) What he says is not really what he says? LOL! Sure, it's real. Goodness gracious. But this pit... do you think it's a hole somewhere on earth? Surely not. My goodness. Just because we say something is spiritual and/or symbolic is not synonymous in any way with "not...

The 144,000 before God at the end.

In your opinion. Yes, I well understand your thinking, but no... :) Do you not believe you have tribulation, EWQ? Everybody obviously and unquestionably does, whether you do or not. Life is hard. Wow. Such misunderstanding..., and denial... Grace and peace to you, EWQ.

The 144,000 before God at the end.

Ah. Well, there's a disagreement among many, and possibly even among "Amills" ~ concerning the first resurrection... what it is and when it actually takes place in relation to the millennium. Perhaps you will disagree, but most "Amills" believe the first resurrection to be what Paul talks...

The many errors and contradictions found in Amillennialism.

No. Good grief. LOL! Amillennialists assert that Satan, as a result of being "locked in the pit," is unable to prevent the spread of the Gospel to the nations, which is exactly what John says in Revelation 20. Goodness gracious. Grace and peace to you.

The many errors and contradictions found in Amillennialism.

John wrote Revelation ~ and specific to this point, Revelation 20 ~ in about 95 A.D., Timtofly. In the first century. I mean there's all kind of opinions regarding anything. But regarding the millennium of Revelation 20, there has from very early after John wrote Revelation always been...

Well, I appreciate your opinion, David, but... we disagree on that, apparently. Not at all. I would be somewhat interested to know why you think that. Grace and peace to you.

The 144,000 before God at the end.

They were carried through the storm/flood by the ark. And in this way, the ark itself is a type, a shadow ~ representative of ~ a saving vessel... a Savior... Jesus Christ Himself, Who, figuratively speaking, carries us through the storms of life ~ tribulation ~ in this fallen world. LOL...

The many errors and contradictions found in Amillennialism.

LOL! I wouldn't tab Jesus as an amillennialist, but rather God, the second Person of the triune Jehovah. :) However... Jesus did say to His disciples (and us by extension) ~ as quoted by John in his gospel ~ "In the world you..." (so, we) "...will have tribulation. But take heart; I have...

The 144,000 before God at the end.

No, "Amill" always "claims" ~ asserts, maintains ~ that God's millennium is now, and tribulation is an integral part of it through its entirety, not because "God causes tribulation," but that because of sin there is tribulation, and God is with His people through it, building His Israel even in...
