What a mighty God we serve! Give God the glory!

You should not believe or presumt that we have all stopped. The climb and the growth continues in some of us, really... The only stopping place is to be when we have reached the end of our course. I still live and surrender and strive. I still ask, seek and knock. My end is not yet. Give God the...

Amen!

No, not my own self-motivated experience alone, but in accord with where the Holy Spirit would lead me... I have been a tongue talker walking with God since 1976. [I grew up a devout Catholic until 1961.] I have been on Christian forums for nearly 25 years now meeting a great many people such...

We may do all that we can do and still realize we are failing even so. So again we ask of God and again He provides. Ask Him to help us to be praying without ceasing and to be rejoicing in Him always. When He responds by leading us to a better place one more time, can we still be distracted...

Indeed and what is it that we now have that we are to give to those who are needy? Help us dear Lord!

Science starts with assumptions and moves to theories. Will science lead any man to the facts we really need? Not without God! Christians live by faith, which for us needs to be the better way. I have studied languages as well, but they are not equal to the heavenly gift God gave to me. Moving...

@Saint of Light Praying!

Mt 11:15 He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. I do hear you sister. Don't withhold or whitewash your testimony for anyone.

In the OT under the laws given through Moses, there is no redemption available for intentional sins. For sins committed through ignorance, there is. This makes me believe that Uzzah's infraction was intentional even though that is not specifically stated in the give text. The price for...

What a mighty God we serve! I just read through this thread and the several people who described how God spoke to them. Give God the glory! Consider: 1ki 19:12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. The still small voice [in...

Why not let God decide? 1co 14:39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues. Who are we to judge others?

Yes, I believe that he is okay. I remember a few years ago when Byrdd was planning a trip to Israel and neighboring places and invited my old pastor [already in his 90's] to go with him. My pastor had been on more than 30 missionary trips to Israel in his life. He had converted large family...

Praying for you.

In the beginning, I understood only a little of what he wrote but as time went by I was understanding nearly all that he posted. He is greatly missed by me. He just disappeared. I had his e-mail address and tried him contacting that way as well as the forum. The email messages indicated it was...

Ga 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Ga 3:25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. Jesus was never a breaker of God's Law. He was the Word of God which was certainly our...

I also had my Elihu a few years ago when I announced publicly that I was quitting this forum. On a PM to me a young, believing member laid it on the line to me why it was not God's will for me to quit this forum. I was already old [physically] and tired but God was not finished with me yet. I...

@Karl Peters Job 2:3 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy...
