22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

What tradition does qualify for gathering? If an individual decides to adopt the Jewish tradition of a kosher diet, will that individual be gathered? There is no such thing as "antiSemitic". The term refers to race, and mathematics and ancestral ubiquity confirm that the entirety of humanity...

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

He was speaking to the people of Israel, comprised of both Jews and Gentiles. The New Covenant Church, also comprised of Jews and Gentiles, was some 40 years old at the destruction of Jerusalem. They were, and are, the elect.

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

I'm waiting for Scriptural evidence that who they are constitute criteria for their gathering. You've previously cited Jewish tradition as a criterion, but Jesus specifically condemns it in Mark 7:13. The Jewish religion of Babylonian talmudism which rejects and vilifies Christ is certainly...

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

Jesus was prophesying of the destruction of Jerusalem. The gathering of the elect would take place no earlier than that, at least 40 years later, well into the New Covenant era. Referring exclusively to the Church.

    Still awaiting an answer.

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

It has nothing to do with Israel. Under the New Covenant, the "elect" refers exclusively to the Church. Romans 8:33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Colossians 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies...

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

It was originally public domain, permitting copying. I've added the attribution. Thanks. I trust that it clarifies the identity of genetic (i.e. the physical seed of) Israel for you.

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

Here's the seed of Israel. Genetically, the entirety of humanity. Corroborated empirically by the Jewish community itself. Abraham lineage DNA Tests Could Fulfill God’s Promise to Abraham by Revealing Millions of Jews. But How Jewish is Jewish Enough? Israel in all of Us? Research finds...

Jesus must have been serious. He responded to "them" and "you". Who were they?

Matthew 24 ³ And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately... ⁴ And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. Who are "them" and "you" in Matthew 24:4?

Everyone is in on the Action

The Judean Christians had the last laugh. They heeded Jesus' warnings, fled, and survived. Thankfully, they weren't dispensational futurists. When the writer of Hebrews says to look unto Jesus, I guess I shouldn't. Because you think that I think that the audience is only the Hebrews.

    New Covenant only for Jews?

dictionary.com doesn't do Greek. Read it again: "Priesthood as we know it in the Catholic church was unheard of during the first generation of Christianity".

Jesus was speaking to Peter, James, John, and Andrew, who were His audience in the Olivet discourse (Mark 13:3). They were the "you" and "ye" in the verses. Parallel verse Luke 21:20 in the Luke 21 parallel chapter to Matthew 24 tells us who the abomination of desolation was: "And when ye...

    New Covenant only for Jews?

"Ministerial order" is an RC contrivance. The verses I cited have nothing to do with "ministerial order" in the priesthood of true believers. There is no Scripture to support that contrivance. Which is why you have cited none.

    New Covenant only for Jews?

Of course. When it doesn't fit your dogma, rewrite it. More RC gibberish. The verse does not say "redeemed". It says "saved". If Paul had meant "redeemed", he would have said "redeemed". From the CATHOLIC BIBLE: "Because it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith..." You...

Everyone is in on the Action

God confirms in His Word that we are to look unto Jesus, in Whom all of His promises are yes and amen. Nowhere does God confirm in His Word that we are to "keep our eyes on Israel and watch prophesy being fulfilled".

    New Covenant only for Jews?

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not through an RC sacrament.

He told me to keep my eyes on Jesus (Hebrews 12:2), because Jesus is the fulfillment of all of the promises of God. (2 Corinthians 1:20) That is fulfilled certainty which has been done.
