The Key to all the Parables of Jesus

The bible holds together if you understand the different polarities described therein. And my resource is the Holy Spirit through whom I have understanding. Among believers there are also many who refuse to sell all to possess the kingdom field where the treasure of an intimate walk with God is...

The Key to all the Parables of Jesus

This is both false and simplistic. An example of your error would be how the word "leaven" is used. Sometimes it is in regard to wrongful teaching as in beware the leaven of the Pharisees. But it is also used to describe the rise of the kingdom life. So one is bad and the other is good. So...

The Key to all the Parables of Jesus

You are confusing two different parables. There is no "bad seed" in the parable of the Sower. In that parable the seed is the message of the kingdom. In this parable...the good seed... the seed is indeed people (unlike the Sower parable where the people are likened to different kinds of soil)...

The Key to all the Parables of Jesus

Not so much. Yes On one level, yes...but not the level that is crucial to believers. Believers are saved from the world at the beginning of the Christian walk. Many assume that all is well from that point on. But we have the bible to insure that real seekers avoid the many pitfalls that are...

The Key to all the Parables of Jesus

Just because you don't know the kingdom walk doesn't mean you should discourage others from seeking it from God. A selfish disposition will always stop others from having more than themselves. Warning people of the coming judgment is far wiser than sticking one's head in the sand. There is...

The Key to all the Parables of Jesus

That is the difference between understanding the word...and just repeating what is written without any understanding of it. Each verse is connected to many others so that a perfect idea is formed. An example is "the field" in Jesus' parables being BOTH the world AND the kingdom. Does it...

The Key to all the Parables of Jesus

Post #19 is meant as a distraction. It has nothing to do with a key to understanding the parables. Mr. E criticizes my posts...but he doesn't understand them. The key is to understand how WE receive the gospel of the kingdom. If we receive the word to "get saved" then we are the rocky...

The Key to all the Parables of Jesus

The crows circle overhead...looking for carrion. Here they come. And each of these know they having nothing to offer to the thread but dead religion.

The Key to all the Parables of Jesus

While you seek to derail my threads away from the truth...you misrepresent everything I say. I am happy to discuss adult subjects with adults. The ramblings and obfucations come from a carnal class of people here that in times past would not have been permitted into the gathering of believers...

The Key to all the Parables of Jesus

The key to understanding the parables is laid out in the 4 different kinds of soil. Those who get nothing out of the parables do so because they don't understand the importance of parables in general...the the parable of the Sower specifically. Matt. 13:19 When any one hears the word of the...

The Key to all the Parables of Jesus

I have so many on ignore here...but Nancy's post got me a little curious about the carnal reactions I might be getting for posting deeper truth. E said... He spends almost 30 minutes on the key, without even mentioning what the key is, or anything about it. I identify the key right away. The...

    What makes a doctrine false?

This is an important question and consideration. On a forum like this, we discus things that for most people has only to do with theories, beliefs and religious leanings. We can speak out our "truth" ..or what we think is truth...in a way that doesn't engage ourselves fully as humans. In real...

The Key to all the Parables of Jesus

The good soil is found with those who not just hear the gospel but also understand it. To do that requires an immunity from the various religious vaccinations that impede such understanding. This requires an openness to the truth in a time where sound doctrine is no longer tolerated. It requires...

It is a bad idea but I think about it anyway

Whatever you do, do it devotionally to God. Do it from the heart...not just the mind. Pray hard...seek hard...cry out to God for direction. He is there. There is no point in making a major decision without a clear conviction about God's will on the matter. You have to ask yourself..am I...

    Nothing much left to say

The fact is everybody believes in something. The benefit of believing the bible is that it is based on truth. It testifies to something that is eternal...unchanging. Without that point of reference there is simply chaos. So then the religion of Judaism or Christianity is a necessary "evil"...

    Entire Sanctification = "In Christ"

No. Take Him off the cross. Salvation is Jesus resurrected from the dead. Echange your dead religion for one of resurrection life.

    What makes a doctrine false?

Whose efficacy and to what end? What I see you saying is "Anything that takes away from the saving efficacy of Jesus to save ME is a false doctrine. That would be your baseline to judge EVERYTHING by. (So many here do that very thing). So then if Jesus tells you...you are "poor, naked, wretched...

    Heart Talks on Holiness

You take all the "fun" out of "fundamentalism." Go start an ego thread to tell us how pure you are.

OK. That might count as 2 points there...You are in the lead at this "point"....
