Thank you, Shattered. I am doing well!

Praise God!! That is awesome news about your brother's recovery!

This is a very painful and sensitive topic for a lot of people. That'd being said, I appreciate the earnest discussion of those who are willing to discuss these uncomfortable things in the light. I would also find that double standard of treatment the divorced women difficult too...

This is so important! Thanks for sharing this!

Yeah, I wasn't exactly sure if the pastor was right on that. I could look into it more.

It's very possible for genuine believers and even Pastors to struggle with lust and pornography. No one is condoning the sin. The purpose of this thread is to give people practical strategies for avoiding this sin. Saying it should be a non-issue is true in an ideal sense, but does nothing for...

Welcome to the forums!!

I'm thinking of the verse in Hebrews about faith. Ill find it. Hebrews 11:1 King James Version 11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hi Truman!! Nice place you got here!

I just feel compelled to say that the saved person overcomes sins by degrees, not as a one time event where they never get tempted and fall again. God's love is meant to be transformative. We come to Him sinful and He loves us and in recieving that love and grace, we are changed. The Bible...

This! I think this that is so clear and it's what I believe. The Born again person has a regenerated heart that desires to please God. So we are not "all sinners". Some are Saints.

I trust Jesus and He trusts the Word of God. He refers to Adam from Genesis. I used to be a skeptic. What sort of things are in the way of you believing the Bible is God's Word?

Ill say the quote again. In Essentials, Unity In Non-Essentials Liberty In all things, Charity That being said, there are going to be some people (tares, Ishmaels) that claim to be Christian but really hate God's people and seek to slander and cause division. You won't get through to them...
