    That "day"....

You know I really need to read more Josephus, and also the book I have on Nero more. From the jist I understand that as the day grew nearer, the days got worse and worse for the people in Jerusalem, there food supply had been cut off (they were good with the Romans for a little while but then...

Bible teaching of works and reward

Rewards go unspoken and untaught in most churches. I never heard of it before until a teacher had finally mentioned it. Thats why it is so important to stay in the bible and fortify faith, and to encourage, and over all let people decide what they will do. Thank you for your encouragement, Ghada.

We are judged by works, not by faith

While people may freely choose and believe what they want to. It all boils down to a personal relationship with God, and you. It's not a collective effort - like it was in the first century - and the first church bride stuck together waiting for the return of Christ in their day. I posted...

Justified by works: Keeping the law of God is not a sin

Paul writes in Romans 10 concerning Israel in its state at the time, for his brothers he said: The Word Brings Salvation (Isaiah 65:1–16) Romans 10 1Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is for their salvation. 2For I testify about them that they are zealous for God...

We are judged by works, not by faith

@Ghada, Did you ever check out those mentions, think it was Romans 12, John 15, Colossians 3, and perhaps Titus?

You can not be my disciples, unless? (The Cost)

If God adopts people into his family, he can also allow the dissolution from a person having a failed adoption. And they just go back to their carnal nature, and stay there until they decide to come back again. God never forces anyone to stay in a relationship with him, while it's almost...

You can not be my disciples, unless? (The Cost)

You can believe what you want to @Ronald Nolette I disagree, but love you either way. There is evidence of people receiving the word with joy for a little while, before falling away cause of no root. Therefore Jesus Christ is telling a truth that some people go after, but after a short time -...

You can not be my disciples, unless? (The Cost)

Jesus said 20 The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 21 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. Is he a liar, Ronald? That is the...

    (Jewish ONLY) Mosaic/Levitical Law (LAWS)

Exodus 21 New King James Version The Law Concerning Violence 12 “He who strikes a man so that he dies shall surely be put to death. 13 However, if he did not lie in wait, but God delivered him into his hand, then I will appoint for you a place where he may flee. 14 “But if a man acts with...

You can not be my disciples, unless? (The Cost)

People can think freely as they want. If people are able to fall away from faith, then once saved always saved is false. It's the spirit of disbelief that starts to creep in the heart, which people turn away from faith.

You can not be my disciples, unless? (The Cost)

It's the spirit of disbelief that starts to creep in when people turn away from God, @Ronald Nolette.

You can not be my disciples, unless? (The Cost)

I imagine most of the time the reaction is "well they were never saved anyway..." That is such a horrible sentence.

You can not be my disciples, unless? (The Cost)

Just sharing, the lesson. There is nothing wrong with sharing the words of the Lord and his lessons here on this website for people look at and read through, @Ronald Nolette.

You can not be my disciples, unless? (The Cost)

It's very possible that someone can walk with God, for a long time and circumstances and doubt creep in, or persecution because of believing in God and the Lord Jesus Christ, people can slowly fade away as the spirit of disbelief comes about, @Ronald Nolette. There is no such thing as once...

You can not be my disciples, unless? (The Cost)

Do you remember the Parable of the Sower? The Parable of the Sower 13 That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the lake. 2 Such large crowds gathered around him that he got into a boat and sat in it, while all the people stood on the shore. 3 Then he told them many things in...
