Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 1st Peter 5:8 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the...

"Loosing sight" ? A Christian should be able to recognize evil and reject it.

That is anything that is theory until it is proven....theory comes first. At one time they believed the world was flat and the sun and moon orbited the earth. Over time they made observations and then they got a good look at it and knew the score. As far as interpreting anyway they want...

Valid point. Accepting Christ is not like signing up for a book club where participating is an option. Going to church being active in church activities and standing with Christians and worshipping the Lord. Charity with the church and outside church. There is nothing wrong with being...

The fossil record has been accumulating by the thousands. And it strongly suggests that evolution happened. Now do they know everything about it? NO. Like any science that deals with vast areas and long time periods it is an evolving science. Intelligent design, God creation and evolution can be...

And all that and they want to turn this country into some creepy form of communism. Communists have been our enemies for a long time.

I AM THINKING THAT VOTING FOR A DEMOCRAT IS A SIN Taking these democrat initiatives into consideration, what is a person supporting when they vote for a democrat. Does this turn the act of voting for a democrat into worshipping sin and Satan? Satan would definitely fall in the category of...

The nuclear bomb goes boom. Most of the technology we have comes from science. Your football game comes from a satellite out 20,000 miles in space. Medical science, your vehicle can have 32 processors in it. Smart phones. Evolution happened, do they know everything about it....learning all the...

No they believe that there was a lot of solid matter before the Big Bang and it gather compressed, heated and blew up. But again that is the question, where did all of the solid matter come from? Suns are born from gases that gather and compress. And I agree that God started it all and guided...

Well, there weren't no planets, moons, suns, before the Big Bang. About all they are confident in regarding Dark Matter is that it exists. I agree with you about teaching evolution as the only choice how things happen. On the other hand the children that go to public schools come from different...

The Navy schooled me in Quantum Mechanics and Astrophysics so I could be a liaison between the scientists and the defense contractors.....Skunk works and such so I spent time at Los Alamos and Oak Ridge National Laboratories. And you are right more and more scientists are believing in...

Well stars and galaxies did develop after the Big Bang, nothing new with that. Matter as hard objects and matter as gases, it looks like there is a theory that particles exploded and turned to energy and gas as matter and anti-matter came into contact with each other. So depending on what matter...

They have always theorized that a great amount of matter accumulated and gravity compressed them, heated them up and exploded. But you are right in that the Big Bang theory has been an evolving theory as more facts are established.

You guys and gals are really blessed. Good for you. I worship with many denominations but Holy Ghost churches are my favorite. I have seen so many miracles with tongues and the movement of the Holy Ghost in those churches. Those that speak in tongues have a closer relationship with God. It is...

Why the Big Bang Theory Predicts Less Matter at Earlier Times The Big Bang theory does not say that the universe contained less matter the farther back we look — in fact, the opposite is true. According to the model, the universe began in an extremely hot, dense state and has been expanding and...

You are mixing science with the biblical perspective and never will they match. The earth is not flat nor is it just 6,000 years old. And the Big Bang theory does not say that the further back we look the less matter we should see. Presumably, the Big Bang was caused by gravity collecting a lot...

It is like this......and you are not going to like it and it going to sound weird from the modern Christian perspective. Outside of the Gospels the word divorce does not occur. For a good reason, Paul did not give the option of divorce. The conversation Yeshua had with the Jews about divorce was...

The simple plain meaning is the point. The simple meaning might be importnt. The important meaning may be lost if you exagerate.

One thing for sure considering these posts.....People read a lot into scriptures. These early stories produce a lot of questions. And people have a tendency to fill in the blanks with their imagination.
