I think some of what Scott is saying here can be linked to 2 Corinthians 5:16. We are not even to know ourselves after our flesh. But to see ourselves as we are in the Spirit, a completed work. God knows us now in eternity.

Yes, Jesus had the capability to save himself from the cross, but he couldn't do that and save us too. Try putting every concept necessary to avoid confusion and call attention to what Jesus did in a terse answer to that paradoxical question.

Hardly, but perhaps it lacks the details necessary to avoid criticism from christian brothers or sisters so don't share it with them. A discerning eye would see it is intended to be provocative and turn the question upside down and into a witness of what Jesus did for us.

I won't be forced to praise God, I won't be taxed to meet the expectations of men. Praise needs to come voluntary from within. When you try to squeeze praise out of people for something you post it turns into a chore.

I would prefer certain topics to be unpolluted by arguments; such as the ones you should find in the testimony and prayer/praise forums. But I think most everyone has the same expectations, and will jump to the defense of someone pouring out their heart.

No. They may still believe Jesus heals. They just don't believe they can, so does failing to believe in oneself count for anything? It doesn't matter if it counts for anything or not IMO, there is nothing we can do to change it except encourage eachother and pray for them.
