Well state of emergency is a different thing. When do you think state of emergency should end? Imo at this point it should only be extended for another 6 months, just in case of a third wave, I don't think we can all go back to ordinary living just yet, if state of emergency was to end next month.

Yep, it's probably because our mountains in the Great Dividing Range are pretty densely cluttered with trees and bush, compared to Japan, USA, Canada and even New Zealand. On a rocky mountain snow is heaps clearer.

Nah these are the bigger mountains in the eastern part of the Yarra Ranges area, the Snowy Mountains are even bigger of course though, the Yarra River is below these mountains

Yep it's the most snow on those mountain ranges near my home I have seen this year, a lot more is visible to the naked eye.
