Timing of the abomination of desolation

It all happened before 70 AD. That makes it all preterist.

Timing of the abomination of desolation

False. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you... And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. Matthew 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the...

Timing of the abomination of desolation

Who are "you"? Matthew 24:2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. Who are "you"? Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

Timing of the abomination of desolation

But Matthew 24:15-16 was fulfilled in 66 AD.

Timing of the abomination of desolation

It wasn't "future second coming" to the Judean Christians. They recognized the applicability of Jesus' warnings in Matthew 24:15-16 to their situation, acted upon them, and survived. Thankfully, none of them was a dispensational futurist.

Timing of the abomination of desolation

In the entire history of the orthodox Christian Church prior to the 19th century, there is not one example of any recognized scholar or expositor who futurized the entirety of the Olivet discourse. That distinction belongs to the interpretive extremism spawned in the dispensationalism of its...

Timing of the abomination of desolation

So you know more about the Jews' retaining wall than the Jews (and the Romans) know about the Jews' retaining wall? The Jews say that it's a retaining wall. The Jews say that the Romans knew that it was a retaining wall. Apparently you're the only one who doesn't know that it's a retaining wall.

Timing of the abomination of desolation

You forgot premillennialism. Glad to see you've rejected futurism.

Timing of the abomination of desolation

Whom to believe about the Jews' retaining wall? 1. The Jews or 2. Davy I know whom I believe.

Timing of the abomination of desolation

So leave man's doctrine of futurism to men.

Timing of the abomination of desolation

Matthew 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. As the Romans recognized, and the Jews recognize, the retaining wall was outside of, and not part of, the temple. A retaining wall is not a building. Luke...

Timing of the abomination of desolation

My God IS The God of Fulfillments. Yours isn't. Luke 24 25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: 27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. 44 And he said...

The many errors and contradictions found in Amillennialism.

Scriptural insight is inversely proportional to font size.

Timing of the abomination of desolation

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. My God is The God of Fulfillments. Yours isn't.

Timing of the abomination of desolation

From the Jewish Virtual Library: History & Overivew of the Western Wall (jewishvirtuallibrary.org) "When the Romans razed the Second Temple, they left one outer wall standing. They probably would have destroyed that wall as well, but it must have seemed too insignificant to them since it was...

Timing of the abomination of desolation

Futurism cannot leave what it never enters.

Timing of the abomination of desolation

Whom to believe? The God of fulfillments or The fantasies, fallacies, and failures of futurism I know Whom I believe.

Timing of the abomination of desolation

I too receive my views from the Holy Spirit "by 'keeping' God's Word as written". There's one irreconcilable difference. I can point to numerous historical Scriptural events proving that what was promised, prophesied, and predicted; was fulfilled. You cannot.

Timing of the abomination of desolation

If you reject preterism, then you must also reject futurism. Both originated from the same counterfeit apostate source.
