Timing of the abomination of desolation

How would they return if they never fled?

Timing of the abomination of desolation

There is no trump. In fact, its absence reveals that this is not the final physical resurrection, but rather the spiritual resurrection from spiritual death to spiritual life which characterizes every true believer in Christ, and which characterized the Judean Christians.

Timing of the abomination of desolation

I posted three Scriptures previously demonstrating the spiritual resurrection from spiritual death to spiritual life. The Judean Christians had experienced that spiritual resurrection. As a result, they also experienced physical deliverance.

Timing of the abomination of desolation

I don't understand. The Judean Christians did flee the abomination of desolation (the Roman armies), in 66 AD when those armies temporarily withdrew. I don't see any mention of a trump in Daniel 12. It wasn't the end of time. Michael was intervening to save the Judean Christians, which...

The Church Is The Israel Of God, Children Of The Promised Seed

Truth7t7, Scripture and history combine to demonstrate that such an abominably blasphemous edifice will never be rebuilt. Those who reject the lessons of Scripture and history... ...will be condemned to repeat them. Sozomen (ca. A.D.375-447) "Ecclesiastical History" Book V, Chapter XXII...

They fled for the fun of it?

Timing of the abomination of desolation

Opinion is not evidence. You'll have to do better. History tells us that they were fulfilled. The Judean Christians tell us that they were fulfilled. I'm not waiting.

The Church Is The Israel Of God, Children Of The Promised Seed

In post 368 you intentionally omitted this line, which contains the definition that specifically applies to the Scriptures under discussion: 1. innumerable, countless (A. V. ten thousand): 1 Corinthians 4:15; 1 Corinthians 14:19. Why did you omit it?
  9. C

Timing of the abomination of desolation

Awaiting your evidence that Jesus' predictions were wrong.

Timing of the abomination of desolation

As dispensational futurists, they'd be too dead to flee.

The Church Is The Israel Of God, Children Of The Promised Seed

Wrong. Thayer's Greek Lexicon STRONGS NT 3463: μυρίος μυρίος, μύρια, μυριον (from Homer down); 1. innumerable, countless (A. V. ten thousand): 1 Corinthians 4:15; 1 Corinthians 14:19. The semantically recognized converse of "literal" is "figurative", or, synonymously, "symbolic" or...

The Church Is The Israel Of God, Children Of The Promised Seed

Not by Strong/Thayer. They are numbers representing large indeterminate quantities. So they are not literal. So they are figurative.

The Church Is The Israel Of God, Children Of The Promised Seed

    Literal in Matthew 18:24, Acts 19:19, and Revelation 9:16. Figurative in 1 Corinthians 4:15, 1 Corinthians 14:19, Jude 1:14, and Revelation 5:11.

The Church Is The Israel Of God, Children Of The Promised Seed

Not meaningless, as it demonstrates that a number that you were adamant is literal, is in fact figurative.
  15. C

Timing of the abomination of desolation

If there is evidence proving Jesus' predictions wrong, please present it. Try addressing the mountains of indisputable historical evidence instead of attempting to rationalize the fantasies, fallacies, and failures of dispensational futurism.
  16. C

Timing of the abomination of desolation

Tell the Judean Christians that they should have been dispensational futurists and allowed themselves to be slaughtered.

Timing of the abomination of desolation

GOSPEL TO BE PREACHED TO THE NATIONS "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then [not until then] shall the end come" (Mt. 24:14). Unless we take this verse clear out of its setting, "the end" in view here is the end or destruction...

Timing of the abomination of desolation

PERSECUTION AGAINST THE DISCIPLES Matthew: "Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.., And because iniquity shall...

Timing of the abomination of desolation

Verifiable historical fulfillments of Matthew 24. DECEIVERS Matthew: "And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you, For many shall come in my name saying, I am Christ, and shall deceive many" (24:4,5). Mark: "And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest...

Timing of the abomination of desolation

The Olivet discourse was primarily about 70 AD, confirmed by the flight of the Judean Christians, and fulfillment of the other signs of those times predicted by Jesus. Jesus knew more than Josephus. Jesus and Josephus knew more than any dispensational futurist. So, thankfully, did the Judean...
