It is clear to me. And I have read the bible many times over.....you are the one misrepresenting scripture.

Don't play head games...stick to the topic.

This say signs of an apostle...in other words Paul was upset that the Corinthians did not defend him against the false apostles and he was explaining the signs of a true apostle. But you have twisted it to say that these are apostolic gifts.....big play on words and meaning.

Why don't you study that in depth.

A person's testimony is not for anyone to claim didn't happen. Also, you are being a false witness to what he experienced.....because you were not there and therefore cannot tell them what they heard or didn't hear.

There is NO SUCH THING as an apostolic sign gift....all gifts are given by the Holy Spirit. There is NO ONE who can manifest any of the power of the gifts without the Holy Spirit. ONLY the Holy Spirit has the power through those who have been given a particular gift to manifest.

Yes it can be taken that way.....just get back on topic please.

Calling someone a liar is an attack on a members character and against forum rules. Telling them their information they posted is a lie is not calling them a liar personally. The information is being challenged as a lie. This is @Behold's thread and it has become a battlefield of differences of...

THIS THREAD HAS BEEN DERAILED! Get back on topic and take your Catholic arguments to a private conversation....or start your own thread.

Show me the scripture that requires one to be an apostle to have the gifts of the Holy Spirit operating in them....and furthermore they were disciples of Christ and Jesus commissioned them to go and make others disciples as well. Can God do anything He chooses? Is anything impossible to God? Can...

Cessationists

Just my humble opinion here....Jesus led by example...He taught His disciples His Truth with gentleness and patience....yes He did scold them for their weak faith...saying have I been with you so long and you still lack faith?...or saying O Ye of little faith.... But then He taught some...

Amen brother....I really don't understand how anyone can give so much credit to those who operate in the powers of darkness by evil spirits.... But a Christian come along and operate in the power of the Holy Spirit and half the religious members go ballistic and deny that there is any powers of...

That is why? Because He was face to face? Your faith is shallow....you might want to do some study and research on Peter.

Welcome to the forum!

Why did He ask Peter "do you love me?"

Love the new avatar!

Hi all, I wanted to thank everyone for their input....Something your comments did was to bring awareness that there is no reason to fret and get concerned about what the days of the week mean and originated from.....and while I agree I also thought this applies to everything that is worldly...we...
