I guess it comes down to being willing to humble oneself before the world to show the world who you choose to follow. But more than that, it is to show your Faith to the world that God is merciful and cleanses us from all sin. When I was born my Mother was of the Catholic religion and so I was...

who wrote this? Rom 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. or this? Col 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through...

Mat 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. Mat 11:5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear...

The question is: Will you listen for yourself?

Jesus VIA Jesus taught what is required of me to be saved and sealed with His Holy Spirit. Paul brought into remembrance what Jesus taught His disciples. But Jesus is The Teacher. 1Jo 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you...

It was "required" then? So it was not category 1? In 1 Corinthians 1:14–17, Paul explains that he baptized only a few people in Corinth so that no one could claim allegiance to him personally. His primary mission, he emphasizes, was preaching the gospel rather than performing baptisms. This...

Which audience are you? that's an interesting question. Who is my Christ selected Apostle and Minister? Why Jesus Christ Himself. And You? Do you believe that you need Paul or any other to intercede for you? That's not what Paul taught is it?

The division is in the approach. Are you coming to be baptized because you truly have a repentant heart? Or are you coming to fulfill a requirement for self-justification? The first is through Faith the second is through Works. If you feel "justified" by doing something because it is a law or a...

You say Jesus via Paul did not teach water immerse baptism as a requirement to enter Heaven. Who is the Teacher? To use a phrase LOL What would Jesus do? Well we know what Jesus did and we were told to follow Him. So now the question is: What would you do? Hugs :D

The only thing that divides is pride vs humbleness. Hugs

I am so glad midterms are just around the corner. Maine is right up there with Minnesota and Michigan. I think the only state that starts with the letter M is somewhat immune not sure, maybe Montana? Big Sky Country. Maine's motto used to be Vacationland, the way life should be. I'm thinking...

What purpose? I was thinking this morning that freedom always comes at a cost. And it is also a time of testing and proving one's faith. When God told Moses to set the children of Israel free from Egypt, they didn't realize the challenges that would be before them to prove them whether they...

The red party isn't exactly what it used to be either. It's crazy the transformation MAGA is bringing to it for the people. When you have republicans like McConnell, Murkowski, Thune and a few others who want us to believe they are working in our "best" interest, and you know they are only in it...

They need you in a constant state of fear. And it's an election year, so there's that. I think this gentleman makes a lot of sense and where our focus should really be. Hugs
