1 John 5:6-8. This is not an error. You must understand that the purpose of 1 John was to combat the rise of Gnosticism within the growing church. What is that? They say Christ came into Jesus at His baptism (water) and Christ left the man Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane and left the man Jesus...

Matthew was not Jesus's speech writer. I stopped watching it after that.

Explain that to all the crippled, paraplegic, paralyzed people who rely on others. James plainly states obeying is works. Obeying is putting your faith in Jesus, who is the author and finisher of our faith.

This is only NDE I've believed.

Its right here in Scripture. Just add "alone" and everything else supports alone. After "faith" Paul says you can't because its a gift from God, period. Ephesians 2:8 - For by grace you have been saved through faith, (alone). and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works...

You are saved by Faith, plus nothing. God has Sovereign authority and power over all aspects of salvation. You can't add to it or take away from it, it is all in the hands of the nail pierced hands of Jesus.

James is misunderstood. James 2:17 - 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. What kind of works is James talking about? Read on: James 2:21 - Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? It was God that instructed...

I read the article, but always wonder how these statistics are arrived at, and who they ask.

I don't see the problem. The Holy Spirit can be within their midst(them) or in the midst of them They both mean the same thing.

When in doubt, believe what the bible says by faith.

I only read commentaries written by Holy Spirit filled Christians. God will take bias out.

Always give love and more love. Compliment and love. Be a saint around her be the person she needs to be when she is your age. Believe me, she is watching you and your actions. Love concurs all.

Just remember, your friends build you up, and your enemies tear you down. Choose your friends wisely. 2 Corinthians 6:14 - Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?

When I was a kid, we had the Lord's prayer every morning over the intercom. We bowed our heads, because we were taught that. Pastors came to our school and preached at assembles. We all were good kids and grew up in the Woodstock generation. No one shot each other, and there were lots of...

A dead body is still a dead body frozen or not. Mt. Everest has lots of frozen bodies on it. They can't bring them down, now they are tourist attraction for climbers.

Not only is progressive thought in churches, but many are also leaving churches for this reason. I've visited many churches in the 90's for the Billy Graham crusade. They still sang hymns and women dress modestly back then. Then enter Joel Osteen. The door was open now, it spread to weaken the...

Like I said. Jesus rose on Sunday and 50 days later, on Sunday, Pentecost. Pentecost has always been on a Sunday.

Leviticus 23:15 - And you shall count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath (Sunday), from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering: seven Sabbaths shall be completed. 16 Count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall offer a new grain offering to...

I will add that Pentecost was always on Sunday. It was also a Sunday sabbath day. Lev. 23:21

I agree. You have stumbled onto one of my soap box issues. Selfie people are not happy people, it is "look at me, look at me". It is the same with YouTube videos. I view many as "look at me, I made a video". Then try to advertise to get more subscribers and likes. Then same with Facebook...
