God gave me a couple prophecy dreams

Psalm 91 comes to mind with these dreams brother.

God gave me a couple prophecy dreams

The overall message seems to be "fear not". The Lord is so good and kind, it might be he is preparing you for a diagnosis (might even turn out to be an incorrect diagnosis), but if so, He's also telling you not to worry because He has it in hand, so you can rest/trust in Him and don't lose any...

Pentecostalism: The Glorification of the Flesh

Amen. "Be not unequally yoked with unbelievers...come out from among them and be ye separate and I will receive you, says the Lord." "Friendship with the world is enmity with God." I like to quote these verses to edify and remind myself as well in these perilous days, but I think also...

Pentecostalism: The Glorification of the Flesh

I think someone here pointed out that different people from different places were hearing their own divers languages from the same utterances. A miracle in other words. That is why the people were getting all excited....it was a sign to them. No need to get excited at all if different folks...

Pentecostalism: The Glorification of the Flesh

Sorry love, but you are one here who is saying "Has God said?", with respect to certain things. Jesus said His sheep know His VOICE. He is ALIVE after all, and capable of speaking one to one with His people, as well as still doing miracles and speaking through earthen vessels...HIS BODY on...

    WWJD with LGBTQ?

Those verse show how vital purity was/is to God, that the we not defile the 'land', His kingdom. Well, the penalty for rape is for governments and lawmakers to decide. They are God's ministers to mete out justice and don't bear the sword for nothing. The church on the other hand is Gods...

    WWJD with LGBTQ?

Know what you mean sister...it's very hard to watch all this rapid descent and devolution into what is essentially heathenism and everything that goes with that...wild incontinence and lack of restraint for one thing.....and sadly all the judgments that come because of sins. The church in...

Pentecostalism: The Glorification of the Flesh

It's people not believing what is written simply and clearly in scripture that causes divisions. We best just believe and obey those scrips by not quenching the Spirit. Or did that pass away in the 1st Century too? Are we now supposed to quench His Spirit? That means to disobey Him, so no...

    WWJD with LGBTQ?

It's driven by the word of God. HIS mindset....which those who have His Spirit also have....the mind of Christ. The Spirit and the word agree. Unbelievers were coming to the Lord who might have had more than one wife prior to coming to faith. There was no requirement for them to put away...

    WWJD with LGBTQ?

Haven't read the whole thread, but as we can see in God's word how sexual purity is of utmost importance to the Lord and a walk in Christ. This is basic and foundational - Christianity 101. We're not going to get anywhere until that is settled. One man one woman marriage and nothing else is...

    WWJD with LGBTQ?

Oh my no, that is not why the scriptures and Jesus say/said those things about marriage - at all! God's thoughts are not like man's defective thoughts. That is the devil once again accusing God, as he always does so predictably. What is at issue is righteousness and purity, not "defective...

Pentecostalism: The Glorification of the Flesh

Praise the Lord, hallelujah! Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty! .....and LIFE! The deadness and powerlessness in a lot of places is so sad....they don't know what they're missing and it doesn't glorify God. Scripture says to QUENCH NOT THE SPIRIT!

Pentecostalism: The Glorification of the Flesh

After His resurrection, Jesus breathed on His disciples and said, "Receive ye the Holy Spirit." That is when they were born again I believe and received faith not of their own, as we do when we come to faith and receive Him. However, He still told them they needed to await the promised...

Pentecostalism: The Glorification of the Flesh

Sorry bro, but scripture records people being baptized in the Spirit long after Pentecost. And John was in the spirit on the Lord's day, decades later, receiving guess what? A revelation and vision! And it was written in scripture that tongues is a sign for the unbeliever.....after Pentecost...

The gospel was preached even to those who are DEAD

Yes He actually was. Not all the traditions of what man had made of the Law, but He kept the principles of what God meant by them. For example doing no work on the Sabbath did not mean it was against the Law to do what was necessary, such as obtaining food. He Himself gave the example of...

The gospel was preached even to those who are DEAD

In general I believe we need to be careful of over-analyzing things.. From what I've seen too much splicing and dicing leads astray....the carnal mind tends to compartmentalize and dissect when what we need is to grasp the truth in a whole with the mind of Christ ,ie, with His Spirit. What you...

The gospel was preached even to those who are DEAD

I'm not getting what the difference is or why it matters....in both cases "law" is referring to the same thing....the old covenant Law of Moses, is it not?

The gospel was preached even to those who are DEAD

St. SteVen said: No, we must have gotten our wires crossed somehow.....the Gentiles didn't need correcting of this particular mindset/attitude (though they were corrected and admonished in another way, in Rom 11) - obviously Gentiles weren't feeling superior to themselves .....but this...

The gospel was preached even to those who are DEAD

Don't have time to look up every place where the word law is used. But in the original Greek it isn't ever capitalized from what I've seen, we just sometimes capitalize it when we are talking about the old covenant Law of Moses that the Jews were UNDER and obligated by God to observe. The NIV...

The gospel was preached even to those who are DEAD

Did you read what followed the part about Gentiles showing the law written on their heart? That part about the Gentiles was only parenthetic to Paul correcting and rebuking a wrong mindset (sinful attitude) that many Jews were adhering to.
