    The Matchless Charms Of Christ

As much as I talk about doctrine on this website, I'd much rather be talking about Jesus. Oh, my Jesus. I know that He is the Truth, and that, in a very real sense, Christ is doctrine (as one of my favorite preachers, CD Brooks used to like to say), but my favorite subject is Christ's very...

    Anxiety

Proper nutrition and exercise go a long way toward relieving this stuff--much more than many realize. Also, increasing charitable acts relieves anxiety, as does meditating on the Psalms, promises of God (many of which are hidden from obvious sight), but most of all, the matchless charms of...

    I don’t do tattoos

I'm glad Jesus didn't go to the cross for us with merely some sense of commendability. Sorry, I couldn't resist. :D

    I don’t do tattoos

I got one about 40 years ago. I'm glad I stopped at one (although I did get it touched up in '86). I knew it was wrong for me, but I wasn't devout at the time and did it anyway. It's a heathen symbol, too. :( If I had it to do over I'd definitely pass. Temple of the Holy Spirit, you...

    I don’t do tattoos

That's funny. The human epidermis really doesn't make a very good canvas, I've noticed. :)

    I don’t do tattoos

I was just taking a little poke at the hypocritical element who use the Old Testament to rail against stuff they don't like, but eschew it when it comes to requiring other things of them. :D

    I don’t do tattoos

But wouldn't that rule be under the old covenant? (lol) :p

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

I can't, and what does that prove? Not a thing. Well, I'm not the only one who noticed it. So do I, and I think you might've been hanging around him too much. :D

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Yeah, how about that Bob S, huh?

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Jesus supports sinless perfection. So does His Father. Yeah, where are these people? I'd like to have a talk with them. Btw, do you think you stated that strongly enough? I don't need to impose my interpretation on something so simple. Do you believe Jesus and His Father are divided on...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Hebrews 4:15 KJV: For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:16 KJV: Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

You're kinda mean. :( Reminiscent of this: Luke 18:11 KJV: The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

    . . . . . . :( Okay :( . . I guess I shouldn't ask so many questions. . .

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

    They sure won't!!!

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Won't you help to clear it up for me?
  17. BarneyFife

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Sure, but I don't concern myself with what others think of my standing with God. We're all big boys and girls here, as far as I know. Do a forum search for the words "not saved" and do the math. Sabbath-keepers certainly don't corner the market on judgmentalism and condemnation--especially not...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

2 Corinthians 3:7 KJV: But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: Romans 7:12 KJV: Wherefore the law is holy, and...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

In light of John 8:11 and 1 John 2:1, do you believe it really matters what any one person's claim of their record of sin might be?

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Either you believe that verses 12 & 13 of Romans 7 support your interpretation of 2 Corinthians 3 or you don't. It's really quite simple. :)
