The word evangelical seems to be one used a lot more in the USA, compared to Australia, it's not really a word thrown around all that much here. In the US politics I have seen that they even have polls in how many Evangelicals support Republican, how many support Democrat, etc, etc. It's really...

Yay, awesome. This is good news. Congratulations. God bless the baby, you and the family. :D

Hey rocky, this is my view on this topic to the OP. My view is there are 3 forms of healing. 1- The Lord Jesus Christ (Power of the Holy Spirit) - A true supernatural miracle of God. 2- The natural brains that God gave us to come up with wonderful cures and fixes. (Doctors, nurses...

What I don't understand is USA recorded 36k+ cases today, they now have 125,000 deaths from the virus or somewhere near that figure, and they have been easing restrictions. If Australia was to have that many cases a day or if most other countries recorded that number a day, there would be a...

I will tag @rockytopva in this as well, it's a subject he knows a lot in, I believe.

I just wonder what is your view when it comes to people being able to say "Jesus is Lord" As we know the Bible says 1 Corinthians 12:3 "Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit."

Some of the Baptist Churches in Australia are strictly non-charismatic and follow a cessationist doctrine, it's pretty sad, one of the baptist Churches nearby is non-charismatic and they only have a few members, but they all where suits and ties like you say though and seem to have some sort of...

I came across a post on fb, but no I haven't watched the video yet. I was disturbed too though when I saw the fb post.

We have to remember that our Salvation is based on faith in Jesus Christ by His grace and not our works, it is because we chose to believe in Jesus and what Jesus did on the Cross for us, that we will have eternal life. In saying that yes Christians can still vote Democrat and still enter...

It is a concern, when USA hasn't really dropped well below 20k cases a day. Fauci said the other day. “Second wave” is probably the wrong term to describe what’s happening. “When you have 20,000-plus infections per day, how can you talk about a second wave?” said Dr. Anthony Fauci A...

I thinks it fair to say through history, sculptors have mainly worked with stone or marble that was white or grey in colour.

@2 Chr. 34:19 Well we read in the first chapter of Revelation a vision of the Son of Man given to John. Revelation 1:12-16 Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man...

Good news for preborn babies in Tennessee. Tennessee legislature passes bill banning the killing of preborn children after detectable heartbeat

@marksman Love the chorus in this song, the first 2 lines of the chorus. "I'm coming back to the heart of worship And it's all about You, all about You, Jesus"

I think my answer to this topic is, no matter how the services are structured, it's about the heart, we should worship and serve God in Spirit and Truth, and it doesn't matter if you are traditional, non-traditional, if you are for liturgy or not, if we worship and serve the Lord God almighty...

That looks awesome I have been reading the the spirit-filled NKJV translation, it has commentary notes at the bottom of each page, it also gives a summary of different views on end time events before the book of Revelations, it gives a summary before every book, what's its about, how is Christ...

I can see the point of the restrictions, and can see why he would want to lock down the hotspots, but don't do another ban on fishing haha, that is just cruel.

@GISMYS_7 what was the story of the car and Andrew Wommack? I remember hearing he had an amazing testimony about something like that.

Yep I am locking this thread, and bringing it back to private discussion, @Adoration was right that a Catholic doctrine cannot be respectfully discussed between most non-Catholics. I was hoping some might learn a thing or 2 about why Catholics believe what they believe, and I was also hoping...
