These wouldn't be mundane, otherwise. It's only natural. Do you have to ask? Normally, people with means are able to execute a plan.

I do recall learning not that long ago that tobacco helps with wounds.

No. No definition. But a description. Overly spiritualized is when there is an unbalance of attention to the spirit over the soulful needs. For instance, Jesus said to give to Caesar what is Caesars. One who is overly spiritualized disregards - or treats as contemptuously corrupt - the part...

LOL. I am putting Christ's commands INTO context to justify soulful behavior. Christ said give to Caesar what is Caesar's. The overly spiritualized somehow read a "DO NOT UNLESS" into it.

More donuts, less misery? Less donuts, more efficiency. In the film Life Is Beautiful, the protagonists uncle wryly commented, “Nothing is more important than the frivolous.”

Is this your only complaint about Trump? In his first term, I estimate his batting average to be .997. Contrast that to Biden's .017 and Obama's .008. In this term, I recognize only one gaff by his Administration. Bondi said she had the Epstein file on her desk and then backpedaled. Regarding...

KJVO-ism kept me from Christ for 2 decades.

I pray you help us figure that out by remaining an active member. I get it. Obviously, you want to stay out of the theology and debate forums. Frequent more the Christian life, testimonial and worship forums. There are a lot of great members here if you give them a chance. (There are a lot of...

I think it comes down to POU - philosophy if use. Yes, many like to debate. Many others like to share personal experiences and solicit advice. Various topics are often avoided my me. Many threads on End Times and OSAS debates. So, what is your POU for these boards?

You think that’s what Jesus command means, invoking Godwin’s Law?

Really? This sounds more like outrage: “You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?

True but irrelevant. Jesus told us to give to Caesar what is Caesar’s - meaning obey authority, even though a lower authority.

Sure you can! Honestly, such statements shows you’re over-spiritualized. Serving him with carnal weapons is why Jesus told us to buy a sword.

You keep confusing individual responsibility with corporate responsibility. And denying Christians have the responsibility to do justice.

Nonsense. Who stoned the man who gathered firewood? It’s unconscionable that you make such proclamations after Christians have been doing this for centuries. It would cause a humble person to consider that Christians, being commanded to do justice, are required to take the law into our hands...

If you can’t control yourself, certainly abstain. One thing that’s helped me is to realize much of the angst over politics is actually a shadow of the spiritual war. In other words, the political fervor is driven primarily from spiritual problems, the lack of relationship with God. IMHO...
