ANALYSIS OF MATTHEW 24:12-13 - WHY IT DISPROVES OSAS

If you associate works with justice your doing it wrong. Our faith should lead to good works, but these works themselves are at most a litmus test for what God has done for you.

    Windows 10?

It seems that every other release of windows is bad, excluding the server releases that have always been good because they don't include useless stuff. Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, ??Windows 10??

Yep, Bison. Never had it myself that I remember. That picture looks like a meat sauce for the spaghetti.

    Common ground

It wasn't a scripture, It was an example of what elaborating on the details would sound like in a parable. Sorry I thought that was clear.

    The Bread of Life

I clicked multi-quote for this post and for your other post then clicked reply to quoted posts at the bottom of the screen. However it doesn't show the whole conversation which can get confusing sometimes. I sometimes find myself copying a pasting to get more of the conversation. Suppose the...

    Common ground

The point is Matthew 22 is a parable and the absence of a detail does not disprove it. Such a detail as the conviction of The Holy Spirit being an important part of the calling of a sinner to repentance. The example of the dove is to show how details can be detrimental to the message of a...

    Common ground

Matthew 22 is a parable. How would the conviction of the Holy Spirit have fit into it? And with the servants was sent the royal dove, whom carried the seals of the invitation letters the servants carried.

    Common ground

The people responding to the gospel and those who God is calling are one and the same. 2 Peter 3:9 doesn't deal with God drawing, but with inviting. The invitation is the result of God's desire that none should perish.

    Common ground

Enter "Freed will." God does not draw everyone. For many are invited, but few are chosen. Why the word chosen? I think destined would be a better fit. I suppose the one making the destinies can use the word chosen.

The Importance of the Holy Spirit

Hello Xeoncross, You should be able to edit your post to correct the spelling of "Lord." I would do it for you if I were a moderator for this part of the Forums. If your talking about spending time with the Lord, what can be more directly related to that than praying? Ephesians 6:18, Jude 20...

Well said brakelite. I hope now the topic is back on track with those words of wisdom.

    No Church Will Accept Me

IMO, If all this was over a disputable matter like the nature of the rapture it is totally disgraceful. The pastor was a liar if he lured you into an ambush with the promise of a 1 on 1. Then for word to spread among the congregation shows a complete lack of confidentiality. I'm not going to...

    The sin of unbelief

When Jesus sent out the 12 into the towns of Israel Judas was one of these. Would Julas have gone if he didn't believe? Do you think Judas went and failed in his mission? I think not, because the Lord said he would drive out demons, so he did. Does it concern you that Judas betrayed Jesus...
