On this point consider @MatthewG what Peter walked upon toward Jesus. What happened when he took his eyes off of Jesus looking fearfully down and around? "And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were...

Praying for the two of you!

@Bob Carabbio Happy Birthday!

Does God know all of the possibilities? He spoke to Elijah in a still small voice, but is that the only way He talked to anyone in the scriptures or elsewhere? Has He talked to anyone not specifically mentioned by name in the scriptures? "And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of...

I have been on Internet Christian forums for 20 years and the answer I see is no longer surprising... I still too often find myself described by those words I quoted from Jeremiah. We do need to be led, but by whom?

Those walking in the ways of the flesh certainly are predictable. However, one following the Spirit, in even a measure, is then in that measure like God, is he not? "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD" Isaiah 55:8

I do not insist on being the only one who is right on a point, even though I may believe it. The proof is in God to anyone to whom He has revealed what is true or not. I refer people who question this to what Solomon wrote a thousand years before Jesus was born in Bethlehem. "Every way of a man...

Salvation or Love? Salvation or Love! What is most important? Do we follow Jesus so as to be saved or do we follow Him because we love Him? Early on in the ideal natural relationship of a child he is dependent upon his parents. He does not know what is harmful to himself or others. Without his...

Amen! A gift of God to men!

What a mighty God we serve, my friend. We are not finished here... not yet, neither you nor I.

In 2004, 18 years ago, my heart rate dropped to 30 and my weakness was to the point of me passing out. They said at that time the problem was not with the heart muscle itself but with the natural pacemaker in my body. For me the end result was the installation of an artificial pacemaker in my...

Praying for you.

"Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe...

Unfortunately, many attorneys advertise that they won't charge unless they win. The fact is that they have no choice. They know it is the law, but they want people to believe that they, the attorneys, are being a nice guys.
