So then who have been our teachers? Who should be our teacher? Man, it seems more often than not... even among believers, relies too much on himself! "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy...

So am I a heretic in that sense, my friend. I cannot agree with established essentials of anyplace where I have attended regularly. visited or read about. I want to agree always with God and His Word, but how well do I understand them? How well does any man understand them? What does it take to...

Why did the natural children of Israel limit God in the OT? Ps 78:41 Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel. Perhaps the ones believing in OSAS are limiting God, but how many of their opposition are doing better? How many are admitting their unbelief and...

Jesus had more and more therefore was required of him than any man who lived on planet Earth before him: "For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin." Heb 4:15 "But he that knew not...

Should we be looking for a black and white rule that always applies to every man or should we be seeking and following God's will for "me" as Jesus did? The cup which Jesus was to drink, he did drink. He did suffer persecution and truly lay down his physical life, allowing men to kill him...

Jesus' will to live was the will of the flesh. Like in any of us there was an instinctive [proper usage?] desire or purpose to keep himself alive [physical life] and comfortable. Jesus showed us by example what God hopes for from each of us... to make our way equal to God's Way [or at least...

@My Dreams Praying!

"I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work." John 9:4 And if we are to be like Jesus, what is our work? "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he...

And then again... "Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and...

What does the word, "work", mean?

Sorry, but this forum is about my only public stopping place on the Internet... You already have it covered.

Praying now!

It is not hard for anyone who has the right One directing his steps: "O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps" Jerem 10:23

"This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24

I remember when my older brother and I had worn such jeans to school simply because we had really worn them. Eventually our mother would get around to patching over the holes in the knees, but in the interim, we would wear them that way... but they were always clean. She saw to that. Then one...

In the beginning God made it all very good. I believe that He made it all for us to enjoy, but in that enjoyment, we need to always remember to use it all as God intended and to keep always first things first! "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things...

@Brad Whiteis Well made... Encourage him to continue walking with and toward God!

Amen... another one of those miracles! Give God the glory!

Very tired this evening and logging off to rest my weary eyes and body. We had a wonderful day. Many thanks to all who responded here and to all who have helped us keep our faith strong in Him. Give God the glory!

Amen sister! So many apparent blockades and trials over the last couple of years, making it seem like one or the other of us would not make it, but God was with us and here are continuing our walk with Him.
