I'm not King James only, but I've used the King James and Nasb for 30 yrs. I started using the NKJB for a bible study 4 years ago because the King James was a little tough for this new class. Anyway, I always thought the King James was special somehow. So, last Sunday I, brought my King James...

I'm born from above, born again, Child of God, and Jesus is my friend. No religion necessary. I walk through this life as a believer, in Christ Jesus my Savior. So I refer to myself as a believer.

The Apostle Paul told us not to be apart of this world (Romans 12:2). We live in a cartoon world with many people just going through the motions with no purpose in life. That's why you see so many suicides' among the single elderly. Lot's of senior married couples live for their children and...

Sure it is. But you can still Keep the Sabbath. Then go the church on Sunday. If for some reason you would rather worship just one day. Romans 14:5-6 - One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind. 6 He who observes the...

Christians have the right to Judge. I Corinthians 2:15-16 - But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. For " who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him". But we have the mind of Christ. The Holy Spirit gives us the clarity to see...

Keep the sabbath and go to church on Sunday.

Praise the Lord, yes the end is coming soon. All the prophetic signs are done. " I want to be in that number, when the saints go marching in" and " when when the roll is called up yonder I'll be there". Amen

There are nice people everywhere in this world who either don't believe God exists, or acknowledge a higher power. The avowed atheists are activists.; That actually speak against Jesus and make fun of Him.

Hello Ancient, Every thing you've just written is for bible students and scholars. The word of God has been saving people in whatever language it was printed in since ad 40. Those who preached the word, spread the Gospel. Regulars folks read and God put His word in their hearts and mind. It...

We are not under the Law, we under Grace. May I say, Amazing Grace. We do not deserve it or have earned it. Upon your salvation, God gave you His Amazing Grace, forgiving ALL your sins, again, All your sins; from the time you were born until now and beyond. Whether, married 5 times or not. You...

My Church was literally ruined by a frozen sprinkler that busted on Dec. 24 a week ago. My church is not small, its multi-level with elevators, It is fairly new. One sprinkler head took it out for 6 months. We are in the world, but not of the world. We must not go the path of judgement from God...

Hello Wrangler, The KJV is the most quoted bible ever. Did you memorize the Lord's Prayer? Every church reads it from the King James. Every time I hear a bible quote its from the King James Bible.

I like and use the KJV. It reads majestically. I like and use the NKJV too, because its better in bible studies when people show up with other translations. The NLT is great for reading the old testament stories. That said, the King James Bible is the gold standard that all translations are...

Of course The Apostle Paul is the Apostle to the Gentiles. We are under Grace not the Law.

Matthew 5:32 - Youngs Literal Translation: but I -- I say to you, that whoever may put away his wife(or husband), save for the matter of whoredom, doth make her(or him) to commit adultery; and whoever may marry her( or him) who hath been put away doth commit adultery. Jesus is against sexual...

Jesus's word (the Word of God) has authority over the Apostles. So you don't believe what Jesus says?

Hello Bible_Patrol, Jesus Clearly says, Matthew 19:9 - And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife(or husband), except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery.” Matthew 5:32 - Youngs Literal Translation: but I -- I...

Hello, I was just adding to the conversation. It is the book of the Apocalypse of Jesus Christ. Apocalypse is Greek for Revelation. Jesus Christ is my Savior and leads me into knowledge. I've studied this book and find more and more each time. So have scholars for the last 2000 years.

Luke was a doctor and researcher. Where did he get the story of Jesus's birth? From Mary herself. He was with her in Ephesus.

Start with the Gospel of John, then read Ephesians. Afterward Matthew, Mark, and Luke. I don't prefer the NIV as it leaves scriptures out. the New Living Translation is a much better read and the New King James is best in bible studies.
