    A Difficulty in Galatians 3

What you are noticing is the difference between righteousness and holiness. There are two standards, One is an OT standard, the other is a NT standard. The OT standard is not wrong...it is merely insufficient. We have been provided a better way through grace. If we "fall from grace" that means...

    Co-eternal does not mean co-equal

...unless it is in character and nature. Stature is a whole other thing. God created everything to have ranks...to have priorities of importance. Structures require order. When a we build a structure do we start with the roof? There is an order to consider in everything we undertake. We get is...

    The Sabbath Day

Jesus came to fulfill the law. How? By doing it for us as so many unfortunately have been led to believe? OR>>>> by inviting us INTO that fulfillment by abiding in Him? Being under grace means we are fulfilling the righteous requirement of the law. When we walk as Jesus walked...are we not...

There is no fear in love

I like this thread. :) We tend to react in the flesh when we are confronted with something we don't understand...or something that upsets what we have come to think as settled. We hate being unsettled. And this holds especially true for how we interact with fellows believers. What we see so...

    Sound Doctrine

True. We are both inner man and outer man...UNTIL we go to the cross. Then we realize that God wants to have a relationship with the inner man. We are to identify ourselves with that part of us. The outer man does not survive into eternity. But the inner man...if by faith and faithfulness clings...

    Sound Doctrine

Yes. The devil's first victory is in convincing us that this world is the ultimate reality and that outer man (with our worldly experiences and adaptive personality) is the real us.

    Sound Doctrine

Sound doctrine points to a spiritual walk in Christ. There is so much teaching that limits the disciple of Christ these days. Whether it is liberal or conservative Christianity, the inner man is left weak, blind, and poor. What is being built up in these various religious iterations is the outer...

    The Sabbath Day

No human can make a day holy. The OT holiness was really about a shadow of future things. Human efforts or lack of effort does not fulfill the deepest intentions of the law. That future is now. Although the future is not what it used to be! ;) Now we can obey the Sabbath commandment by entering...

    Being Faithful to God

Zion is a place in the spiritual realm. The Kingdom of Heaven. We can be in two places at once...this may sound far fetched but it has to do with the duality of the spiritual walk in Christ. When we walk in the Spirit there are 2 realms being superimposed on each other. We see the world THROUGH...

    Being Faithful to God

To be temporally minded means you put great importance on everything that happens to you in a given moment. Being eternally minded means you are able to put things in their proper perspective. We need to look at things within the bigger picture. This world is a simulation of reality. It's seems...

    How to handle heretics?

It is better to be wrong in doctrine but be humble and fear the Lord. Nowhere does it say that God gives grace to the doctrinally accurate. Much of Western Christendom is based on accuracy of beliefs. Can you say "the emperor's new clothes?"

All Sin Has Been Paid For - The World was buried with Him.

And that is mainly true. However the sermon on the mount holds true. Be careful not to misunderstand one aspect of the truth because of the other. The righteous are scarcely saved and the saints are abundantly saved. The wicked perish and the hypocrites wander in eternal darkness. God decides...

All Sin Has Been Paid For - The World was buried with Him.

Jesus indeed is the Saviour of the whole world ESPECIALLY those who believe. But you are going too far the other way. The truth is held in a proper balance. There are actually 4 possible destinies...read Rev. 22:11 These possibilities are covered in many places in the Bible. Jesus alludes to...

    Being 'Born Again'

That's an opinion not supported by the Bible. Have you heard of the lake of fire by chance? The wicked are destroyed. But the saved live on. In a great house there are both vessels of honour AND vessels of dishonour. When the sons of the kingdom are cast away or spit out of Jesus' mouth...where...

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

Being in Christ is a corporate thing...being in the Body of Christ. All who believe are part of His Body. But abiding in Christ is a personal thing and comes at great personal cost. That's the difference between a saint and a faithful brother/sister.

    This statement is trustworthy…..

What needs to put down is not our will...our will comes from the inner man. What we need to to be strengthened in our will against the works of the outer man that contains the sin nature. What part of us is supposed to reckon ourselves dead to this world? Our will. :) We can't compare...

    Being 'Born Again'

No. Being God's people means we will live forever...BUT...what are we being saved to? In a great house there are both vessels of honour and vessels of dishonour. ALL who call on the name of the Lord will be saved. However, not everyone who is born from above finishes the race. Some will be...

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

A drastic case scenario to be sure. But humility is always the best way to proceed. :)

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

This is true. That's why the outer man needs to go to the cross in order to walk in the Spirit. The sin nature is contained within the outer man and holds the inner man in bondage until liberated by the cross to walk in resurrection life.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

Another LOL! Religious definition of "harmonize." : verb meaning to obscure, deny, ignore, or get downright hostile towards those who have the audacity to point out a verse that reveals something missing in my religious certainty. :)
