I recall you aren't on Medicare. I wonder if your insurance would pay for physical therapy at your home through a home care agency? If your doctor says it's too difficult for you to go out every weekday for the therapy? Once you are on Medicare, they pay 100% for intermittent home care...

I hope your dentist put you on antibiotics. I've had two abscesses. The last one I can remember well. My dentist drained the abscess but I recall he put me on two antibiotics for some days. An infection near the brain definitely needs a course of antibiotics.
