Do you mean that even if He were God, he couldn't say so?

Yeah, they want to kill off all the taxpayers so they can't get paid.. Wait; what?

Sorry for going off-topic.

I just wanted to make sure I understood you correctly. I don't care to go down the Christology rabbit hole. lol

My 2nd meal was at a gasthaus with my co-workers (fellow airmen). It was bratwurst, spinach, and mashed potatoes, and the local microbrewery's beer, of course (Bischoff-Pils). It was some kinda yummy. :)

Did He lie in these verses? Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. (John 8:58) I and my Father are one. (John 10:30) Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the...

@Christophany Would you like to respond to the OP? Just asking.

So is He not in the form of flesh now?

And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: (John 16:8) Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. (Matthew 5:6) If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more...

It's not dark but Heineken makes an excellent beer that is 0.0% alcohol. I have one or two about once a week. My very first meal in Germany was Currywurst. I still love it, but I use a different kind of sausage now than they had in Germany. I believe they used Rindswurst (beef) with a...

I can be a bratt! :p

Halellujah! A thread worth participating in! It is impossible for finite minds fully to comprehend the character or the works of the Infinite One. To the keenest intellect, the most highly educated mind, that holy Being must ever remain clothed in mystery. “Canst thou by searching find out God...

"Whilst the laxity which is said to have prevailed among the Celts as to the observance of the Lord's Day cannot be excused, it may to some extent be explained. The Jewish sabbath--the seventh day--continued to be regarded by early Christians as a day of rest, whilst the first day of the week...

Arguments Refuted The Sabbath is Jewish, Sunday is Christian Though the Jews were indeed entrusted with God's memorial of Creation, the Sabbath was not made for the Jews alone but for all of mankind. Nearly all theologians, even those who keep Sunday, agree that the Bible is clear on this ...

The Shabbat Apology The Olympic Games go far back into antiquity. The first recorded and reliable date for them is 776 BC, though evidence exists that they were held even earlier. Yet, however old the Olympics, they’re not as old as the seventh-day Sabbath. The date of the giving of the Ten...

Not one, nor all of these facts negate what you have quoted by me. It is dangerous to exalt any man (except the man Christ Jesus) above the other penmen of Scripture. Christ, Himself never did so. Solomon and Daniel were extremely intelligent and educated. Regardless of what many scholars (many...

Brother BB, could you try to use the quote feature of the forum software so that we can see the context of what you're quoting? Also, if you don't use it, the person you're quoting doesn't get a notification that you have indeed quoted them. :)

But, BB, my friend, no one here has claimed that it wasn't. :) Is it possible that you have an undue bias, then? I have never encountered or heard of any of these things. Do you recall any particular preacher that exhibited an actual hatred of Paul? What I have noticed is that the meanings of...

This could easily be taken to imply that Paul was more accurate than other of God's penmen. I think it's important to point out because so many have an exalted view of the apostle Paul. I feel like I have to keep saying that he was naturally gifted perhaps above others, but not supernaturally. :)

Moses did exactly the same thing. So did Jesus. :)
