Amen! I don't promote a license for immorality, like these ungodly men who have crept in unnoticed in Jude 4. In regard to Hebrews 10:26, to "sin willfully" here carries the idea of deliberate intention that is habitual, which stems from rejecting Christ deliberately. This is continuous...

Descriptive of believers and unbelievers. The good deeds of the redeemed (those who have done good - John 5:28-29) are not the basis or means by which they obtained salvation but is the evidence of it. A person's conduct, whether good or evil, reveals the condition of his heart. *Notice that...

In many cases (but not all cases) salvation obtained and/or maintained by works. ALL false religions and cults that promote salvation by works and strongly oppose OSAS teach works-righteousness. Now there are Christians in the NOSAS camp who do not hold to that extreme heretical view and would...

At first I wondered if it was an AI generated f-bomb but it's the real deal.

The snake that creeps me out the most in Africa is the black mamba.

Faith includes believing, assurance, reliance upon Christ for salvation. http://biblehub.com/greek/4102.htm The demons believe "mental assent" that "there is one God" but they do not believe in/have faith in/assurance in/reliance upon Christ for salvation. In other words, they do not believe...

Believers do not miss the point here in James 2:24 but works-salvationists do. You need to interpret this verse in context. James is talking about an empty profession of faith/dead faith that remains "alone" barren of works. (James 2:14) That is not genuine faith but a bare profession of faith...

Hebrews 3:14 - For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end. Notice that this is essentially a repeat of verse 6, where we read: but Christ was faithful as a Son over His house - whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence...

In 1 Corinthians 9:27, Paul is talking about being disqualified for the prize (NIV) and not disqualified for the gift of eternal life. In context, Paul has been discussing preaching the gospel. 1 Corinthians 9:16 - For when I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, since I am compelled to preach. Woe...

You don't need to add the word "alone" next to faith in those passages of scripture in order to figure out that the word "faith" stands alone in connection with receiving salvation. Hence, FAITH ALONE. Do those passages of scripture say faith "plus something else?" Plus, works? NO. So, then it's...

My views on OSAS fall more into the category of eternal security of the believer (Ephesians 1:13-14) or preservation of the saints. (Psalm 37:28; Jude 1:1) OSAS type of thinking does not lead me to embrace licentiousness/a license for immorality. I only believe in OSAS IF we are truly saved/born...
