    It Gets Kind of Boring

Picking the debates is useful Rita, in fact, I think critical. ...and prayer forums.......hmmmmm, I'm wary of telling God what he already knows.

The Hell Doctrine - No doctrinal unity

I'm certain God is big enough to handle it. I don't think he'll spit you out because you challenge him. Wasn't Jesus challenged at Calvary? Did he spit out anyone? Wasn't it that we spat him out and then blamed him (attributed to him) for doing what we did?

DECONSTRUCTION - How far is too far?

Did God kill Judas? I think he chose his path for his own reasons. They resulted in disaster. Peter was on a similar brink. He went back to fishing. It might have ended badly. Paul has his story, you have yours, I have mine. I have learned that those who have come to love Jesus also have...

The ability to love and be loved is God's greatest gift to us

    Slow-Walking Sin Out The Door

The consciousness of sin is like becoming aware of more doors.....even trap doors than the mind was initially capable of processing or being aware of.

Does God judge generations, individuals, or both?

Does God judge generations, individuals, or both? or do we (individually and generationally) Judge God.......worthy of our worship or no?

DECONSTRUCTION - How far is too far?

The Eunuch (poor bloke, I've read about Eunuchs) it appears he was a heart searcher. The Spirit is extraordinarily active when Jesus is presented. It has the effect of drawing people just like Cleopas and his mate or finding them in a flap trying to find an alternative explanation.

The Hell Doctrine - No doctrinal unity

I can see Jack, you wouldn't concede that your mother was a woman unless you realised it yourself. :)

DECONSTRUCTION - How far is too far?

Don't you think Paul knew or the other Apostles? ....for instance, Cleopas and his mate? Don't you think it would be an error to project your own lack of knowledge onto God's chosen heralds? Don't you think it is a worthy aspiration to be able to lay out the scripture in the same way? However...

You that are deaf; hear now

You that are deaf; hear now hmmmm, its clear to me you are hearing a different piper to me and do I dare to say, a piper who believes prophecy is for the sole purpose of foretelling the future? It appears I have dared!

    Was Jesus crucified?

Was Jesus crucified? hmmmm, well I don't think he was filled with ice cream and tied to a sandhill in the Negev on a hot day!

DECONSTRUCTION - How far is too far?

I want to highlight that Jesus brought clarity or shall I say perspective to the various alarming things stated in the Law and the Prophets. To the guys on the road to Emmaus he didn't labour their foolishness in lack of understanding but showed them in the Law and the Prophets and the Psalms...

The Hell Doctrine - No doctrinal unity

I've never seen draught horses on a race track and race horses pulling a plough is probably not a possibility.

DECONSTRUCTION - How far is too far?

Having well loved and entrenched views placed on shaky ground in our own selves (understanding) is never easy. It requires a rethink of what we deem our foundation and how we understand it. It requires giving others plenty of rope as it does giving ourselves rope. In the meantime, I will feed...

DECONSTRUCTION - How far is too far?

Truth either exonerates or condemns us. It doesn't matter who speaks it. Does that answer your question? Do we assume the accuser (Satan) will only use lies to accuse? Could it be possible that his accusations are right on the money? If I assume my premise is unflawed about 'judgement' will I...

DECONSTRUCTION - How far is too far?

here is my quote :) or rather is it a reiterated question? Ah yes, 'who is responsible for judgement?' .....and this is not to skirt your question, because I believe it's valid, but to flesh it out. Consider a court case, who is it that initiates it? the one presiding (the Judge) or the...

DECONSTRUCTION - How far is too far?

ahhhhh, 'Universalism', what an opaque word! Just as Elijah had a twisted rationale after the spectacular performance on Mt Carmel, could we too have a twisted rationale when we hear the word 'Universalism' Was Elijah ever wrong? If so, where was the error? When we hear the word...
