An alcoholic does not continue to frequent the bar where he previously did much of his drinking as if he were now immune and could not be tempted to have just one "for old times sake". God might direct you to go into that bar or to "Lillydale", but before you do it, be sure that it is God...

Amen! Today is the day and now is the time!

Why indeed? Jesus became a Way where there was no way, but a person who is not properly prepared will not be allowed to enter in... "And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not...

Do you know everybody?

Too weak to do it alone, but not too weak to ask God for help which when the request is according to His will, He will not refuse! "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth...

Try this... "Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give...

Because we do not lean heavily enough on Him and also... because there are some things we do not really want to give up... not even for Him!

Can try...or must try, because we love God and that is what He wants from us? If the task is too much for us alone [which it certainly is!] will He not then take up the slack? But first, we must give it our all! "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your...

What does God want from a man? Is it not for each man to do God's will? If a man fails to do things according to God's will using what God has given the man to work with to accomplish God's will... what would the man's reward or punishment be? "But he that knew not, and did commit things...

@MatthewG Here are several scriptures regarding healing I gathered together some time ago for reference: "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;” Ecc 3:1,3 "See now that...

I establish nothing! When something right and/or good comes from me, it is the Holy Spirit leading. Quenching the Holy Spirit is too often the problem with people, who have believed. Most believers remain double-minded until and if they have by the power of the Holy Spirit overcome all...

Thank you for the conversation!

You, my friend, like so many others supporting any certain belief has an explanation on each point as if that must be it. I learned a long time ago to return to the lowest room as empty as possible as often as possible [daily at least] before God allowing Him to refill, remake, reconstruct...

I have read all of the verses you have posted and I have heard all of the arguments you have presented before. You are still not understanding where I am at all. I will not press the issue! Give God the glory! He alone gives anyone, be it you or me or someone else, any real increase...

Jesus really did say within the following verse, "much is given, much is required". God gave men talents and as proper stewards of God how can they not want to do all the good that they can with those talents? Yet, we know that many people are very selfish working mostly for themselves for their...

Give God the glory always, my friend. He had blessed you with talent. Use it wisely!

Praying!

Be sure to also read the following verse... 20:5! Ex 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Ex 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor...

You keep on preaching this message but you are unable to name even one of today's apostles! Who among us is an apostle?

But you are unable to name even one apostle for us to follow today as you deny that the man known as Pope Francis qualifies. Who does?
