Is it right for a Christian to hold a Bible in one hand and a doobie in the other?

Our local Prosecutor owns a used gun shop. How convenient is that? Government is as bad or worse than those in prison. And they have access to FORTUNES of hard earned taxpayer money. Pelosi is worth over $100 million, not counting her stash.

Is it right for a Christian to hold a Bible in one hand and a doobie in the other?

Yep, people have been in prison for weed for years. So sad! And what's worse, those in government are as bad or worse.

Is it right for a Christian to hold a Bible in one hand and a doobie in the other?

I was going by what I know personally. Booze has killed and abused an ocean of people. People are dying like flies from illegal drugs. I say legalize them. Put the drug dealers out of business. Stop the drug wars. Car wrecks, violence, wife abuse, etc. Like I said, maybe the weed today is...

Is it right for a Christian to hold a Bible in one hand and a doobie in the other?

Abortion is MURDER! I wasn't recommending for anyone to use weed. I was simply saying it would have to be much safer if legal. Back in the 70's booze was clearly much more dangerous, VIOLENCE! I never heard of anyone on weed being violent.

Is it right for a Christian to hold a Bible in one hand and a doobie in the other?

Maybe the weed today is much more harmful? That's why legalization would be MUCH safer, better quality!

    Not faith alone?

I have no problem believing Jesus was sinless. The Bible clearly says so! I have a problem with the self righteous folks who declare themselves to be sinless! Ain't Scripture!

    Not faith alone?

Makes me wonder how many who believe they NEVER sin don't ask for forgiveness and therefore aren't forgiven. Matthew 6:9-15 (NKJV) 9 In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us...

    Not faith alone?

I have a terrible time believing that anyone alive doesn't sin.

    "We (Christian's) Yes indeed!

    Not faith alone?

John clearly included himself. "we" 6 times "us" 4 times "our" 2 times 1 John 1:8-10 (NKJV) 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness...

    Do you sin?

    Not faith alone?

Define "upholds the law of Moses".

    Not faith alone?

Already gave Scripture. Here's more. 1 John 2:1-2 (NKJV) 1 My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only...

You pick the parts you like?

    Not faith alone?

    You're a sinner. I'm a sinner. I'm forgiven. Are you?

    Not faith alone?

All we need to know for Christian salvation is in the NT. To preach the OT to non Christians is spiritual suicide!
  17. K

    Not faith alone?

I say "I strongly recommend sticking to the NT". And you say NO?
  18. K

    Not faith alone?

I strongly recommend you dedicate your life to studying the NT rather than the Law of Moses that was only for Israel. I.E. Acts 16:31 Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you'll be saved, you AND YOUR HOUSEHOLD!
