Ok, I read the Bible. Here's what I found. "not of works" Ephesians 2:8-9 (NKJV) 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

So you are saying words are works? Scripture please.

Not that I support this, but if governments would legalize pot instead of making people buy black market pot it would be MUCH safer! It's total government hypocrisy to allow booze and not weed, IMHO. I mean REALLY, people are dying all over the place from drugs! As usual, government is the problem!

The "potheads" never caused any trouble. They were very reliable workers. Drunks are violent and abusive! The "potheads" were not on other drugs for the most part.

I worked with many "potheads" and many drunks. The drunks are far worse people, IMO!

You never did anything good before you got "saved"? Some can indeed be saved without "good works". As I mentioned before, someone paralyzed CANNOT do any works, period. But he can get saved. We will indeed be judged by our words, but it's quite a stretch to call our words "works".

Lots of people do "good works" and aren't saved. Works don't save. But a Christian will do "good works", IF he can. Loving and believing are not "works". They produce "good works".

So, if a person is paralyzed and can't even speak, but is aware, he/she can't be saved with ZERO works?

What was the thief's works? He confessed that he believed in Jesus. That was all he needed to obtain salvation.
