Yes, that's about what I pray. Jesus wasn't into too much "wordy" prayers...He simply wanted us to be quick to repent...and He gave us the model prayer we should pray.

The motive might not be regretted but reading another post here about them fading and getting wrinkly....might cause regret. However, if it served its purpose in opening doors to talk about Jesus then the other stuff doesn't really matter....especially if someone is converted and becomes saved!

I enjoyed reading this and it actually brought back to my mind the time I turned away from God after my husband died. I am not there now, but I am guilty of only seeing the "fruit" of my sin from turning away...I am definitely going to discuss this with Him in prayer and repent of this in case...
