Hi brakelite, And what evidence scripturally other than a symbol (iron) do you have for thinking the last empire of Daniel 2 is the Revived Roman Empire? I have read all your history but am referring to scripture to support your claim. Marilyn.

Hi Polar, Good topic. Now as it is the Holy Spirit that is building & maturing the Body of Christ under the direction of the Head - Christ, then we can be assured that He will restrain man`s agenda. This will be till the Body of Christ comes to the unity of the faith under the guidance of the...

Hi OzSpen, That`s great that you are a voice out there for those topics. People need to hear a clear voice so they are not swayed by their `feelings.` As to Eschatology study. I have been taught different in some details than many others, so have been presenting them to our friends over many...

Hi Ozspen, I think that is a great area that needs to be utilized more - the media. So many people read news papers etc that we would never reach in our daily lives. They can read the topic at leisure & think about the points. A very good avenue. I have in the past written into the Shep. news &...

Hi blessed hope, Yes they are good prophecies & I agree with you. Marilyn.

Hi r4hnsn, Well how is that, you went to Te Nikau. I stayed on campus for about 3 months & really enjoyed myself. I do love NZ & think the people & the country are quaint, nice & friendly. Where have you travelled to? A girl friend of mine has travelled all over the world, in backpackers etc. A...

Hi OzSpen, I found this forum by Googling Christian Forums & checked it out. Liked the headings & read some discussions. People seemed to be discussing God`s word well. We live on a beef & hay farm. It is towards Kyabram. I do know the Shep Baptist as they have a very nice building south of...

Hi r4hnsn, The land of the long white cloud, ay. Been over your way many times as have had relations there. Did the Milford track when I was younger & even went to Bible College at Te Nikau north of Wellington at Paraparaumu. Do you live N/S island? As re Shep. yes we are a fruit growing area...

Hi OzSpen, I have been appreciating your topic & read most of it. Some interesting points have been brought out. I agree that apologetics is not specifically taught in the denominations, however as many of us (here in my area) are now functioning in small groups we are more focussed on why we...

Hi blessedhope, I agree that man will try to bring religious unity & that will be the false church. However I was referring to Jesus` words by the Holy Spirit through the Apostle Paul to the Ephesians, concerning the `Unity of Faith.` This is not an out ward coming together but all the truths...

Hi blessedhope, and your Bible prophecies that say different are ...............................? Marilyn.

Hi OzSpen, My hubby, Trevor remembers the show as he has lived near Shepparton for most of his life. We live on a farm not too far from there. We do like travelling north & seeing the great outback. Brisbane, as I remember is like a big country town. All the best, Marilyn.

Hi blessedhope, Have you seen this line up concerning the 6-day war? Speaking three weeks after the war ended, as he accepted an honorary degree from Hebrew University, Yitzhak Rabin gave his reasoning behind the success of Israel: Our airmen, who struck the enemies' planes so accurately that...

Hi ATP, I would like to discuss with you concerning the dragon & beast. (Rev. 12 & 13) You have done an interesting summary & will take a bit to work through. I`ll start with your third question - 3. What do the seven heads and ten kings on this dragon represent Rev 12:3 NIV. `And another...

Hi blessedhope, Interesting & up to date topic. I also see that the `Bear` has a huge paw print in the Middle east now. As to Ps. 83 why do you think it is yet to unfold & not happened in the past? Marilyn.

Hi blessedhope, I also believe in the `catching away` pre-trib, however I do believe that scripture tells us that the Body of Christ must come (by the Holy Spirit) to the `Unity of faith.` As we are still in the `tossed to & fro` stage then obviously the Lord`s coming for us is still a ways...

Hi Angelina, What a technicolour welcome, thanks. Brighten anyone`s day. Blessings, Marilyn.

Hi StanJ, Great. Thanks for your welcome. Nice to see a friendly, smiley face. Marilyn.
