"Breaking" Mon 7-8-2024, Sorry Democrats, Biden Isn't Going Anywhere

Many believe that Trump was convicted in a court run by a biased, crooked Judge. I keep hearing people point out the way the jurors were instructed left no other option but to convict and that jurors had three potential crimes Trump was alleged to have committed to elevate the misdemeanors to...

THEY TRIED TO KILL TRUMP IN PA!

The central premise of the Biden campaign is that President Donald Trump is an authoritarian fascist who must be stopped. Sen. Tim Scott, another Trump ally, shared a similar sentiment. “Let’s be clear: This was an assassination attempt aided and abetted by the radical left and corporate media...

Perseverance of the Saints is different from Once Saved Always Saved

I like the term, "preservation of the saints." Psalm 37:28 - For the Lord loves justice and does not forsake His saints; They are preserved forever, But the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off. Jude 1:1 - Jude, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to those who are...

THEY TRIED TO KILL TRUMP IN PA!

What I don't understand is how could a number of Trump rally attendees easily see the man on the rooftop carrying a rifle and were even pointing directly at him, yet the nearby cops and secret service agents did not respond to the threat. I find this very strange.

    Flooded basement

Talked to a guy today who was associated with the waterproofing side of things when our house was built. He said he would take care of the dirt, gravel and drain in the window wells and he even talked about a french drain in the yard. Maybe he is cheaper than the other guy. He will get back to...

    Flooded basement

Thanks. The key is to channel the water away from the back of the house and prevent it from settling there with nowhere to go. We never had trouble with water in the basement until we recently got torrential rains. Back to back storms with multiple inches. It was unreal! Around record rainfall...

    Flooded basement

Rain in the forecast today but thankfully most of it is north of us. Chance of rain overnight but only like 30%. You still never know which is why I keep praying. Our basement is dry and the guys who supplied the fans and dehumidifiers along with checking behind the baseboards and wall are...

    Flooded basement

I know a landscaper who will bring in 8,000 lbs of dirt and along with sod and run it across the back of my foundation, raising the ground level up 6 inches and slanting it away from the house. He will add extensions to raise up the sides of the egress window wells and also install a type of...

    Flooded basement

Is it dug out by hand? I heard the gravel and dirt in the well is typically around 19" deep. I know one company who has done great work for a friend in regard to egress window drainage and drains in the yard, adding dirt around the foundation etc.. but they are booked up for 2 weeks.

    Flooded basement

The next chance of rain here will be Sunday. Please pray we can find someone to dig out our egress window well and place proper drainage in it before then or at least that the rain will be minimal and not flood the well until we can find someone.

    Flooded basement

No. It stopped around 6:30. I just woke up from a 2 hour nap. I can't sleep for very long. Too paranoid about rain.

    Flooded basement

I spent the last 2 hours filling up a 10 gallon shop vac and dumping the water into a bathtub.

    Flooded basement

Yes. It works fine. We just had too much rain in a short period of time. Poor drainage in the egress window wells was the problem. Will get that fixed if it ever stops raining!
