Sinless Perfection. Why do so many teach against what Jesus taught?

I would change this from "if I sin" to "when I sin" and even then, I would not focus on this, focus on living others. seeking after the things of the spiriit. and we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. This means we look outward not inward. it is when we look inward that we sin, because...

Sinless Perfection. Why do so many teach against what Jesus taught?

sadly, people cannot get past their own pride and patting themselves on the back. and think God will do the same to them because they are so good. They reject the thought that if god gave them what they deserve. it would be hill.. all of us deserve hell..

Sinless Perfection. Why do so many teach against what Jesus taught?

thats what they do. they deflect to try to make you look bad. so people cannot see their pharisee gospel of works.

Sinless Perfection. Why do so many teach against what Jesus taught?

James made a point, Under the law if you even by mistake break a command your guilty of the law so lets not water down the law and say I am still saved as long as i do not purposefully sin, if i do not do it on purpose. sin is sin is sin, the wage of sin is death if you do not recieve the...

you still can not see it. The passage says If you see it.. It is something that you can visually see This is not what the passage says, and this is not true. A child of God cannot live in sin. hence they can not fall away. If you fall away from grace you never truely recieved it.

    The PROCESS of SALVATION.

no my friend, we are not under law. we are under grace. you were saved when you recieved his gift. Or you remain unsaved because you reject his gift. or try to earn it yourself. you will never meet Gods standard. so you can never save yourself no matter how good you are. or how good you think...

Sinless Perfection. Why do so many teach against what Jesus taught?

you can not see someones soul dieing so it can not mean death of the soul.
  8. Eternally Grateful

Sinless Perfection. Why do so many teach against what Jesus taught?

if Gods standard was possible in us, we would not need saved. we would have saved ourself

Sinless Perfection. Why do so many teach against what Jesus taught?

I actually try not to worry about it. and go on seeking after the things of the spirit and following the law of love. I just refuse to prove myself as decieved thinking I have no sin. if you want to be deceived by thinking you have arrived. and are perfect by your deeds and actions. well...

Sinless Perfection. Why do so many teach against what Jesus taught?

Amen, Just like he did to abraham in Gen 15. Adam did not become sinless after this, poor abraham had many of his sins after this exposed for all the world to see.

Sinless Perfection. Why do so many teach against what Jesus taught?

your right it is evil.. thats why only grace will get us to heaven. But it does exist John said if we say we have no sin we are decieved, and there is no truth in us John included himself John spoke in present tense. not past tense. in other words. at any moment at any time, if you or I...

this is exactly what got me to thinking.. and questioning what I believed to be true

Sinless Perfection. Why do so many teach against what Jesus taught?

I used to think this also. Then I got to think when I was studying one day 1. I can not see a person die spiritually. 2. A person made alive by God can not make themselves Dead again. 3. I can see a person die physically. so spiritual death can not be context of what is spoken of. "if you see...

Sinless Perfection. Why do so many teach against what Jesus taught?

if you think you have reached sinless perfection in this lifetime John says your are decieved You have stunted your growth. because when you do sin (and you will) you will never admit you have sinned.. and continue in it.

guess if you need it to be to support an assumption But it was the same sin. each person committed the same sin of getting drunk, then driving drunk one died. the other did not. that is not two levels. that two end results of sin which a brother or sister has committed. Its not two levels...

Sinless Perfection. Why do so many teach against what Jesus taught?

I would not call this two levels of sin. if I get drunk (a sin) and get behind the wheel to drive home (a sin) and make it home alive, I have commited a sin not unto death If I do the same 2 sins, and get killed on the way home. I have committed a sin unto death. edited. If my friends sees...

Sinless Perfection. Why do so many teach against what Jesus taught?

if we say we have no sin we decieve ourselves and there i no truth in us. why would we want to deceive ourselves and say I am not currently sinning.. in one way or another? the bible also says if I know to do good and do not do it. to me it is sin. Jesus went deeper thean the law they law...

Sinless Perfection. Why do so many teach against what Jesus taught?

interesting James said if I even stumble and in doing so break one command on accident, I am guilty of all My scripture says the wage of sin is death, it does not say the wages of these sins are death, but these others are ok..

but can we achieve this? remember, John says if we say we have no sin we decieve ourselves and there is no truth in us. so if it can be achieved, why would john say if even himself said he has achieved it he is decieved?
