NO! The BEST VERSION is the ORIGINAL! Everything else is a cheap imitation, -- kind of like disregarding an original painting in favor of a picture of the painting. Without the ORIGINAL MASORETIC, you most likely will NEVER know the depth of the text used in Daniel 9, -- AND WILL NEVER KNOW...

Rev. 18:4 Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues; Scripture seems pretty clear that the cities will pay a price, (just look at the plagues presently being manifest in So. Cal.) but who will heed...

... and then gave up, and rejected what you MISSED in Scripture. But that's ok, -- it's your loss! :) Bobby Jo

I agree that ill considered people errantly assign 40 years and 120 years respectively. But the CORRECT measure of a "generation" is either the span of ~20-30 (- call it 25 -) years BETWEEN generations; or the entire 70 year DURATION of a life. But these mistakes happen when we listen to...

You use the English Translation as though it were a FAITHFUL CONVERSION from Hebrew. But there is NO PERFECT TRANSLATION. Sometimes we MUST use the Original Text. Where you defy what Walvoord reported regarding Young, -- who in turn reported what Keil and Kliefoth reported --, it's YOU who...

Forget the "DAY", concentrate on the YEAR! DO YOU KNOW THE YEAR? Do you WANT to know the YEAR? -- IF not, then why continue the conversation?!? Bobby Jo

Ummmmmmmm, according to Psalms 90 we're only "guaranteed" 70 years, which expired in 2018, -- so your 1948 is simply a FAKE number which you pulled out of one of your orifices. In fact, you not only have NO CLUE as to when Jesus will return, -- you can't even name the YEAR, much less the...

Bobby Jo said: If Scripture says we can't know the "DAY or the HOUR", can we know the Week; Month; Season; Year (1); Decade (10); Score (20); Century (100); Daytona (500); and Millennia (1,000)? n2thelight said: ... NO!!!! ... but we should know the season ... If I understand your position...

#1. Dan. 9:2 says "years" #2. Have you ever gone for a ride in a "cool" car? Did you wear an overcoat, a hat, gloves, and scarf? -- That's the analogy for the "unusual" INCONCISE Masculine gender text which was used by Daniel and is found ONLY in the 9th Chapter of Daniel, and NO WHERE...

Newton certainly observed that the Commentators are LIARS. Furthermore he REFUSED TO PUBLISH HIS OWN RESEARCH for good reason. -- Newton didn't want to be listed among the LIARS. So you are not only uninformed on the most simple of concepts pertaining to Daniel 9, but ascribe your FALSE...

Sometimes people's "facts" are mirages/delusions. REALITY may require something as simple as water, or more difficult like medication. Bobby Jo

You're either not coherent, or not honest. The question is simple: If Scripture says we can't know the "DAY or the HOUR", can we know the Week; Month; Season; Year (1); Decade (10); Score (20); Century (100); Daytona (500); and Millennia (1,000)? And it's ok if you choose to be dishonest and...

It's a simple process to weigh a good decision versus a bad decision. All it takes is for someone to say THEY WON'T FOLLOW SCRIPTURE. There are PLENTY of example of people destroying their lives through lying, stealing, adultery, murder, etc., -- and these are specifically warned against in...

They say experience is the BEST teacher. But others say it's the WORSE teacher because it gives the test before the lesson. So where you could be INFORMED, you apparently prefer to be UNINFORMED: 1 Thess 5:3 When people say, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come...

Yep, if they're on topic. But if they're just distractions/diversions/ramblings, then I don't answer you. :) Bobby Jo

HI JBF, Be encouraged for your word, and don't be dismayed by those who do not have the Spirit of the LORD. -- As your vision unfolded, so too I anticipate the aspects which you conveyed to be fulfilled in the church in the present, and future when we join those who have gone before us. I...

... awareness, reasoning, prudence, -- they're of GOD. But not every mosquito bite is MALARIA; not every lead bullet is WAR; and not every fear is RATIONAL. We DO have a GOD who will see us through the events which face us and challenge us, if we do our part and WORK responsibly to care for...

Not in YOUR case. In YOUR case it's simple disobedience. You can read, you can understand, and you can reason, -- you simply choose not to. But that OK because Scripture (Luke 22:35-36) has warned you, so be happy with your decision. And Good Luck. Bobby Jo

Manna? -- You eat "barnyard" and think you're feasting. So feast ... Bobby Jo

CORRECTIONS: #1. Your "reasoning" did not address the Scriptural "hour/day" versus pulpit FALSE TEACHING: week/month/season/year/decade/score/century/daytona/millennia. #2. YOU do not know the date. Now maybe you're GOD and actually know other people's hearts, motives, and knowledge. If so...
