    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

P1 and P2 are both true, affirmed by Scripture. But since you bring it up, in what sense does father mean brother? And in what sense does brother mean father? This invokes the Law of Mutual Exclusion, regardless of a biological or non-biological sense of these words.

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

Do you know what eisegesis is? Imagine reading whatever you want into text. You use the word believe but suppose is more precise. Supposition is not a solid foundation for doctrine.

    Hyperbole in Bible

There are some fundamentalists who take every word of the Bible as literally true. This view denies the richness of hyperbole, which was part of literature and customs of the ancients, as well as communicate in highly figurative ways. I thought this thread could collect some of our favorites...

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

Begotten means created, as all sons are, by definition.

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

This is one of the most preposterous, patently anti-Scriptural and anti-logical claims I’ve read in a long time. Reading into God’s word whatever one feels is on display.

Did ANYONE In Scripture (Including Jesus), Claim Jesus IS God?

Yes, Jesus is beside God. This is what it means to be at God’s right hand.

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

Not sure what you are not following. Syllogisms in Logic do not need explanation as you claim.

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

    No. Re-read the syllogism.

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

Ever read modern translations of 1 John 5:7? Ever read the translation error for this verse? Don’t use error to base your doctrine on.

    Islamic Jihadi Attacks New Orleans

I confess the shocking display of ignorance of history I find on the internet. You truly should educate yourself on the topic and not expect another to spoon feed you as if they are responsible for your education. Start here. Forced conversion - Wikipedia Seems you have this filter that all...

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

False. Morality needs context, not logic. That’s its insightful power!

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

Then to be fair, in some sense, Jesus is NOT God. (You know the validity of the syllogism does not depend on biology. Saying so is just a diversion.) P1. God is X. P2. Jesus is Not-X. C. Jesus is NOT God.

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

Your claim of 3 in heaven is not supported the text. Please elaborate so the point you are making about 1 Thessalonians 5:23 can be flushed out.

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

Hebrews 2:11 is further proof text that Jesus is NOT God, which is why Trinitarians must get the shackles of logic off their doctrinal back. The Law of Mutual Exclusion, the bedrock of epistemology, along with The Law of Identity, disproves the trinity. P1. God is our Father (not our...

Did ANYONE In Scripture (Including Jesus), Claim Jesus IS God?

False. He has many titles. Scripture says YHWH is his eternal name. You contradict Scripture.

Did ANYONE In Scripture (Including Jesus), Claim Jesus IS God?

No. Translating his one name in different languages does not mean Jesus is his name in any translation.

Did ANYONE In Scripture (Including Jesus), Claim Jesus IS God?

Appeal to Strawman. It’s the teaching that is contrary to God’s word. Odd that it being missing does not bother you.
