    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

And Jesus is not the only one. Scripture is filled with agents, doing the bidding of their principle. This applies to all prophets, by definition and angels. Hagar was seen by an angel and spoke for God, saying God sees you. (One could take the angels words as speaking about himself in the 3rd...

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

Yes. God’s name is not Jesus or I am but YHWH according to Ex 3:15. This is his eternal name to be remembered for all generations. ‘I am’ is not even what YHWH said to Moses. It’s closer to eternal, I was, am and becoming. Still, I find it telling that trinitarians are forced to rely on...

Why does everyone seem to need to come up with their own belief and doctrinal formula?

I agree. There is only 1 Gospel, the Good News of Jesus Christ. There are billions of testimonies and witnesses through the Millenia, including the Apostles and us living today.

Projecting. The trinity is not in the Bible.

Ever read the next verse; Ex 3:15?

Very well put! I look forward to the mental pretzel Trinitarians contort themselves to respond to this one!

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

Try answering my question. It’s so odd that the complete absence of the doctrine of the trinity in Scripture does not cause you to question its validity. Nothing in Scripture says what you assert, ‘without the trinity’ there is no Christianity.’ Therefore, per Scripture Christ followers exist...

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

Woah! We are containers who have empty ourselves of self to make room for God’s Spirit. Being a container, we are OF God. This preposition is not equal to the verb ‘is.’

Not really an answer to my question. Rather, you are making an assertion that contradicts Scripture. Sad.

You got that right! This atrocious and coldness is how Jesus is portrayed in many films, ‘above it all.’ This is a far cry from the compassionate man adored in Scripture.

What verse says this? And why do we need to understand this? What verse says it’s important to believe the trinity?

It had to be any human per Deut 18:15-18. What makes Jesus special is that God Anointed him for the task of being the sacrifice.

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

The fact that trinitarians deliberately stoop to such obvious deceptions is amazing. There are dozens of lords in Scripture, which Jesus is one. There is only one capital LORD and refers exclusively to Jesus’ God. Simple.

Language Usage. The word “God” only refers to himself as all nouns do … Jack and Jill went up the hill. Jack packed himself a lunch. This is not to be construed that he packed a lunch for a different person.

Juxtaposition. The strongest argument against the trinity is the fact that “God” is in sentences as the subject, acting in “Jesus” who is the object of the sentence passively being acted upon. This formula is ubiquitous throughout Scripture. And one should read into Scripture, “in his Unitarian...

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

I find it revealing that trinitarian interpretation is AS IF there is not a “NOT” in that sentence. These 2 sentences cannot be interpreted the same. I seek equality with God. I DO NOT seek equality with God.

Why does everyone seem to need to come up with their own belief and doctrinal formula?

That’s a tough lesson there! If one performed miracles in Jesus name is not a sign of closeness with Christ, we must remain extra-ordinarily humble.

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

The passionate devotion to manmade doctrine - over the plain, simple, explicit teachings of Scripture - is something to behold. I don’t need God’s word, I got my own ideas and invention of word meanings.

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

It’s sad that trinitarians repeat the lie no matter how many times it is refuted. They just do laps on ground already covered. Supposing Jesus was divine undermines the entire point of his ministry and significance of his resurrection. There is no theological significance to an all powerful...
