The Jews called God their Father. They must have realised therefore that Jesus was not claiming this in the same sense as they were claiming it else they would not have condemned Him for it. They must have understood Him to be claiming God as His Father in a very literal sense. This is why they...

Okay, so I'm taking a liberty with ideas and language here, I'm being a little metaphorical. But if the Son is begotten of the Father, but is not God, then what is He? Everything else in the natural universe, particularly humans, made in there image of God, begets after their own kind. KJV...

Yet I understood your summary. You know that FBI agents don't study counterfeits in order to know good money from bad right? They study the true so that when they see a counterfeit, it immediately resonates and they recognize the errors. I chose to offer you what I thought was a sound reason why...

Because you say so of course.

You could feed a herd of elephants with all the straw you're piling up. I've lost interest.

I'm not interested in listening to a 45 minute video explaining why some obscure dude denies the obvious. I found it hard enough reading your summary.

For no more reason than simple appreciation for really really good music and the passion that goes into expressing it well, I cannot help but smile when listening to this,

But isn't the wages of all sin, death? And please explain what you mean by...My point is, if you want to live the law. Didn't Solomon say that obeying Good Commandments is the whole duty of man? Didn't Jesus say, if you want to enter life, keep the commandments? Didn't He also say, if ye love...

Yeah Keith. I read that. And your very first summation of the motive for John's writing of the gospel... And his letters by the way... Was not to give an account of Christ's ministry. That was the synoptic gospels. John was different, and he tells us so. John was writing late in the 1st century...

well. That's the mystery isn't it. We know the Father is God. We are told the Son is God. Unless you call God a liar of course. And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a...

Very dogmatic aren't you? “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;” Titus 2:13 This is a specific reference to the second coming of Jesus. It is referring to Christ as “Saviour” and “the great God”. Some translations place a...

Post 16 couldn't be clearer.

KJV Revelation 13:2 2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority .

That is the definition of Hellenistic Judaism but it is not necessarily the description of Hellenistic Jews. Hellenistic Jews may have retained most of their religious beliefs but adopted part of the Greco-Roman culture and had friendly relationships with and work for or did business with...

It is syncretism and is a form of spiritual adultery and compromise. It is a negative thing. It is manifested in the NT in the beast from the sea of revelation 13. It is a Christian professing entity with elements of paganism infused into it's character. It is Antichrist.

Thank you for that clarification.

Scripture has been presented to show the Father calling His Son, God. The Son stated He and the Father are one. We know they are one in character, and I'm purpose, similar to how we also maybe one in them. What we are not told is how they are one in relationship. In personality, clearly 2...

Copied from a previous post of mine from 2 years ago...The following expresses not only my own personal testimony, but how I believe Sola scriptura ought to be exercised. To develop a healthy scepticism toward our own beliefs and values. Trust the scriptures more than any of our current...

Yet you contradict the way you interpret the above by your personal testimony that you obey the commandments regarding stealing, adultery, coveting etc. Are the Ten Commandments nailed to the cross our not? If not, what is the 4th Commandment the exception?
