    Hello!

Living the dream!:) Do we know each other? Possibly from another site? Christian forums?

    Are Protestants "saved? "

People will always try adding themselves into the biblical narrative dishonestly. We see that so much that this has become the main way of becoming a Christian in today's church. In Christ we do take on the perfected life of Jesus. But then the question remains how do we enter into Christ. The...

    Misreading Paul through Luther

But in letting the fox out of the barn the weasels snuck in.

    Misreading Paul through Luther

You trust in Luther? He speaks for God? Is Luther in your bible? Any discernment at all will easily see the lack of spiritual life in Luther. He was an opinionated man that could see the corruption around him...and called it out. (very practical) But he was also a terrible monk....opening up...

    Misreading Paul through Luther

I think that Paul was actually TOO brilliant for most people to understand. He is speaking so specifically...like John also does...that you already have to understand spiritual things to be able to tell what he's saying. He makes seemingly stand-alone points when he's really making distinctions...

    Are Protestants "saved? "

People today tend to read themselves into salvation through selecting certain bible verses for themselves....and this without any manifestation you read about in the bible among they who were active in the salvation process of Christ.

Not by works - but by faith

Saved by grace means freed from sin. And you are exactly accusing me of what you are doing yourself. You are saying YOUR sins are ok but other people's aren't because they don't have your religious views. But the gospel is not about accepting Jesus as your personal saviour....as opposed to...

The Little Book in Rev. 10

A drive-by post with speculation but no foundation. Read the entire thread and all the verses and you will see that you are far off as can be.

Not by works - but by faith

We are saved BY grace...not FOR grace. We are saved in order to do the works of Christ BY grace. Grace ...not a free ride down the hill but the power and strength to climb up the hill. In His strength

Not by works - but by faith

..we weren't able before Christ. But you are not seeing the purpose of Jesus's coming to earth. He died and was resurrected to give us His life....a life that we can live in through grace. And then it is HIS power....not ours we live in. As in...no longer I, You really need to go over the...

Not by works - but by faith

That's not biblical at all. Outer darkness has no fire. Fire IS light. And you are just stuck with the religious traditions of men rather than actually looking deeper into the biblical narrative. So what you should say is..."I can't tell the difference in the bible between hell and outer...

    Are Protestants "saved? "

You are the one equating bible reading with salvation. I don't believe we can judge what will become our destiny. God will judge that. The bible is very specific about claiming things that aren't true. We are not to bear a false witness...or take the Lord's name in vain. So a religious bent that...

    Are Protestants "saved? "

So you are just another bible "enthusiast" who has no actual testimony...but just religious beliefs? You name you claim? But how empty is that? There are people that actually experience what you are claiming as your right....but without any actual connection to God. Do you realize just how...

    Are Protestants "saved? "

So you are walking over sin? You are one of the few in our time to walk in the resurrection life like we read about in the bible? What's it like to be like Christ?

    Are Protestants "saved? "

We are the moody lovers. God can't go against His own holiness. So you are firmly taking a humanistic view of everything and are not seeing this from God's eternal perspective...and the biblical perspective. Without holiness NONE shall see the Lord. Grace gives us the victory over sin...no...

What Makes Us Fit For The Kingdom?

What I see lacking in so many believers of today.. Honesty: Indoctrination into all the "sweet" sounding verses while denying the truth that sounds hard. Humility: So much arrogance these days among the "saved". These think that humility is for Hindus or other religions. Honour: People today...

    Are Protestants "saved? "

To walk in Zion with God...to cease from our own works and walk in the Spirit...where we do the works prepared in advance...the eternal works that are from above. To enter into the grace of God in the perfection of the walk IN Christ. His yoke is easy. But to get there is very hard. The way is...

The Little Book in Rev. 10

Good study and exploration you guys! :) And the very prophetic nature of the OP seems to keep the buzzards away! :)
