I always remember Paul saying to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. That is a great comfort to me. My 94 year old mom died this June but she was/is a Christian...so I think she is now with Jesus. And that is my hope, too, as I am now 74.

Update. The most serious charge of manslaughter has been dismissed....jury was deadlocked. This would have been fifteen years in prison. However, they are still deliberating a lesser charge which could carry four years of prison. I hope and pray they find him not guilty.
