    FUNNIES

It's terrible!..... those signs need putting in their place!

Are strikes unethical, immoral and evil?

Ahhhhh, wouldn't 'paying them a visit' be a greater evil than refusing to dig coal? Evil for evil....what a great solution. It's as brilliant as making people suffer for eternity because they lived a few years being rebellious.

Is There Any Hope for the Unsaved Dead?

'eternity of suffering'......does that sound like something the God of Jesus would put in place?

Are strikes unethical, immoral and evil?

I hereby strike against all the name calling and against the better than them attitude. :)

Are strikes unethical, immoral and evil?

Are strikes unethical, immoral and evil? Lightning strikes? baseball strikes? blackboard strikes? left and right hand cheek strikes?

    How to pray to God?

How to pray to God? I think Jesus taught us the principles.......of honour and of gratitude. His focus has a conspicuous absence of self

Who Will Burn in Hell "Forever and Ever"?

Sounds like you're looking forward to seeing it happen Jack?....otherwise, why make such a statement?

Is There Any Hope for the Unsaved Dead?

In chapter 21, John sees a new heaven and a new earth where death no longer exists. One could call it 'The Kingdom of God' The old heaven and old earth have passed away. I would understand that to mean they no longer exist.....it is gone along with death ie, the old order of things as vs 4 is...

    Heaven

I imagine it depends on what one believes 'The Kingdom of Heaven' consists of? Didn't Jesus spend an extraordinary amount of his parables attempting to give us insight into this? I can see him scratching his head and saying 'what shall I compare the Kingdom of Heaven to? Luke 13:20.....and...

Is There Any Hope for the Unsaved Dead?

hmmmm, I don't really see your sequence as being accurate however we can discuss it if you're interested? To kick off with, how do you arrive at the idea that the millennium is a kingdom on Earth?....at least one with human beings?

    Things To Share

I think the whole process (if I can call it that) is organic rather than one of superimposition....this is a general summary. The word 'control' can be understood differently depending on which angle one understands it from. An example might be, if God is in control as the word is mostly...

Is There Any Hope for the Unsaved Dead?

I have wondered about the second resurrection, ie, the resurrection of the wicked. I figured, they are dead, why bother to bring them back to life? Is it just to kill them again? hmmmmm However, this thought crossed my mind....the billions of people who have lived in bygone eras who have had...

I'm amazed! Do I conclude this has become analogous to the general American mindset?

    FUNNIES

The funny side is worthy of a laugh yet isn't it peculiar how embedded in our jokes is a concealed understanding of ones reality.....one of fear, of certain assumptions, of our understanding of God etc. If there wasn't, the punch line would be rendered impotent. :)

What does it mean "there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus".....

What do you think Chapter 5 of Romans is saying, specifically verses 15-19?
  16. quietthinker

What does it mean "there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus".....

yes, to chapter 8 ....and the first verse in chapter 8 is a direct conclusion and follow on from chapter7 :)

What does it mean "there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus".....

Romans 5 gives the contextual picture....in particular verses 15-19......check it out

Very Impressed Popes Speech to Curia

and so this is the process you invert every truth...... it matters not whether it is doctrine or the rationale of debate......you turn white to black and then miserably attempt to persuade others it is white. I guess this is also the process the RCC uses to justify her opulence. No wonder this...

Very Impressed Popes Speech to Curia

lol....well that is funny because instead of exposing others you expose yourself BOL. :)

Very Impressed Popes Speech to Curia

@BreadOfLife ......On another point, the moniker you have given yourself; it is by any standard considerably presumptuous....but I doubt that has even crossed your mind ....a mere mortal choosing to call himself BreadOfLife......a title only Jesus is qualified for and worthy of.
